This is a nice way for me to store a few personal items in one place. It would be great for decoration, kids collections or treasure hunts etc. Very nice box.

My grandson asked to buy him something with a key to hide things from he's brother, i seen this wooden box on Amazon it was just what I was looking for, I was really pleased with it bigger then I thought it would be well made come with lock and key and tissue paper inside was a note saying it was a retro looking box that added to the charm, my grandson loved it he's but marbles in coins and a few other things he collects well worth the price .

Good build quality and great finish. Good patina. Just remember to remove one key and put it away in case you accidentely lock the keys away!!

I awaited delivery with bated breath, having read varied reviews. I'm a fussy cabinet maker, in the process of making a Honduras Mahogany treasure box for a friend, but I cannot get it ready in time, so I ordered this as a temporary standby, while I complete my own project. However, I was blown away by this product. Not the sturdiest, but magnificent, nevertheless, and easy to line with padded velvet, and to strengthen too if you are clumsy, careless and felt it necessary. With an engraved plate on the outside, it will be stunning. And the price!!!!! Who in their right mind could complain? Someone moaned about a wobbly base! Well, its so easy to stick 4 felt pads on the corners to take care of that, though I'll do something more exotic, though its not really necessary. Value for money? Amazing, I'd say. Thank you Mr Maker!!!!!
