Exactly What I Needed—Daylight In, Prying Eyes Out! I bought this window privacy film because I was tired of feeling like I was living in a fishbowl—hi, neighbors 👋. Installing this stuff was surprisingly easy. Just cleaned the glass, sprayed a little soapy water, slapped it on, and smoothed it out with a card. Done. No tools. No stress. The best part? It lets in tons of light but completely blocks visibility from the outside during the day. I stood outside and couldn’t see a thing—even when I squinted like I was solving a crime. Bonus points: it actually looks pretty. The pattern gives a frosted-glass vibe without the cost or commitment. Oh—and if you mess up during application? Just peel and reposition. Forgiving like a grandma with cookies. If you want privacy without sacrificing sunlight or style, get this film. Your windows will look good, your space will feel brighter, and you won’t have to wave at every dog walker strolling by.

My windows face my porch (this porch is HOT, it's the portal to hell I believe) anyway right way, within a few minutes of covering them I could feel a 50% reduction in heat. I couldnt believe it. If you are in a hot home and trying to cool it down GET THIS PRODUCT. I found it to be easy to install as well. I just moved and took mine with me, easy to remove. The best part also is you can open all your curtains in the daytime and no one can see in.

This works very well, it has help with the heat from the sun coming in the windows. Very easy to use, just know, the more water you use the easier it is to put on. It also helped, when one of my windows broke. It held the glass together after the brake.

Does this stuff work? Absolutely it does!! My son's bedroom faces directly east and gets full sun from sunrise until about 2:00 PM. We do not have any large trees to provide shade, so his room was always much hotter during the summer than the rest of the house. I installed this window film and we could immediately see a difference in temperature the following day. It does not hinder the view looking outside, but if you're outside, looking in, it's completely reflective during the day time. The installation was super easy too. I recommend using a razor blade and some Windex to clean the glass first, then make sure it's completely dry. Get a spray bottle of soapy water and one of those little shower squeegees when you go to put the film on the glass. If you've never done this before, watch a video on youtube on how to install car window tint, it's basically the same thing. First you'll want to cut the film so that it's about 1.5 inches larger than your glass in both directions. Then spray lots of soapy water in the glass. Next, you peel the backing off of the film and "float" it into position, using the squeegee to smooth out the air-bubbles. The film will actually start to cling automatically. Again, just watch a video on youtube. Definitely worth the money paid.

I must have been missing something because I don't understand how this film was supposed to work. I thought it was supposed to have the peel off to expose the sticky part on one side and then a peel off layer on the other side that faces the interior, but this one did not. It was really hard to put on and get the bubbles out. It cut really easily so it looked like garbage by the time I got it up. The tint was what I was hoping it would be, but it didn't function the way I thought. I personally don't feel like this was worth the money.

The item worked as advertised was delivered promptly and the price was great.

I ordered this thinking the guidelines were on the backing (like others I've ordered.) I needed a specific size for my larger windows. This was the correct size but the grid is on the film not the backing so it looks like a window screen. Not what I wanted in my livingroom. My fault as I didn't realize it was the design. Film did have several creases in it when it arrived as well that will not go away. I didn't notice these issues until we cut the film. We installed it hoping to like it but really don't. Luckily it's a static film so we moved it to another room where the screen look isn't much of a problem for us. The reflective part is good. And hopefully that will help with summer heat coming up. Installation is as easy as any other static film. Just spray a decent amount of the soapy water as your installing and it'll work fine. Use a window film squeegee. They are cheap and will save you headaches! Learned that on other projects. I gave 3 stars due to the multiple creasing in the film that cannot be removed and caused issues trying to get the film to lay correctly. If the film didn't have creases I would give 4 stars - because it does seem to be decent window film.
