quality OEM grade replacement significantly improved my steering quality... grabs the road & addressed most of the play I had in my steering...which I had enough to supply the whole town with some, should they want it. one noticeable improvement comes from this one, dreaded, god awful curve that I inevitably have to travel twice a day, everyday... I dont know if its my states lack of qualified / quality road department ... everything.. but, this curve has & will lead to many accidents... it's a 3 lane - into 4 as one splits off into a ramp that leads to ANOTHER STATE & MAJOR BRIDGE .. only 1 of the 2 ways to enter said state... so this curve for lack of better anything... has 4 lanes. the joints feel as though theyre much too distant from one another & thus, lead to pot holes (you have probably figured out where I live now)....this is one of - if not the - largest arteries in the metropolitan city... & there are only 2 highways in & out of the city... so for context... IT GETS ALOT OF TRAFFIC... this results in not just pot holes.. but craters... sink holes, if you will... so vehicles without the tip top grade suspension system (this is most in this area) often "skip" across the lanes & into traffic & thus accidents.. if youre lucky enough not to... you are whiteknuckling your steering wheel praying to whomever that you dont... this is also a very wide curve... that being said... this made a major difference in my trucks handling of the road & specifically - this curve,.. I used to actually worry about the curve which is really actually ignorant of me for the sake of other drivers on the road so I apologize for my being a crap person if we've ever traveled there together... this was the main reason I replaced this bushing. I do not want to be one of those people that other people tell their kids about on the road. neither should you. so fix your stuff, this is affordable &. it makes a huge difference. a bonus is you get a smoother ride, too. oh & it stopped the squeaking & other annoying sounds that come with an aged bushing with thats dry rotted... a worthwhile investment that makes a significant difference
