It is plastic not wood just in case you're wondering and fail to read the description like I did. However, it works for me. I actually installed it myself and I'm pregnant but I honestly recommend getting help to at least lift it up to drill the track in place. I did end up purchasing a different handle to attach to it as I did not like the plastic one it came with. So overall it was easy to install, Great quality for the cost and it looks great. Make sure you get correct measurements as that will help you determine the proper fit so that it can work well.
