The Bible Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained Hardcover – Illustrated, February 20, 2018

Although this book hasn't changed my status from agnostic to a true believer, it did help me to connect all the dots of everything I have been taught about christianity.A must read for all Christians by denomination, to understand the world it has been built by the Christian west and to get a glimpse on how the dogma works. It's all about new interpretations of the same stories.Fascinating and scary at the same time.

The stories they write about are well-currated, but there are a lot of typos and inaccuracies throughout which was disconcerting. Here are three I caught, making me assume there are more I didn't:- the Virgin of Guadalupe (p. 179) the book cites first being seen in 1851, when the actual year is 1531- on p. 309 the author writes "happing" instead of "happening", did they not have spell check?- they mess up the "eye of the needle quote," saying it is harder "for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" than a rich man can get to heaven, changing the whole thing

I have read The Bible many times and took two classes in college on this important book. However, even with my knowledge of it I need something to provide me my way to whatever I recall so I can return to its original. This series of books are great for students and for writers to turn to--not only does it give you a great synopsis but also a way towards its exact source.

What a neat book series! The graphics are cool and the page layout is easy to follow and also interesting to look at. There are a few details in the book that aren't theologically sound, in my opinion, but for the most part the book gives a really nice overview of the different parts and themes of the Bible.

I love all these books. They have so much information but in a layout that makes it so fast to read and gain knowledge.

This book gives a simple explanation of big events which happened in the Bible. If you are not knowledge about the Bible is book is a must read.

This is a very good book. It Is The whole bible explained so anyone can understand it .It also has beautiful pictures to go alone with it .Some things I knew some I did not It is a great book to have on hand.

Easy to understand

This book ,in my opinion is a supplement to the bible in more than one way..the photographs and paintings are an innovative addition instead of mere illustrations the explanations, background of many characters are helpful to understand them better .the comparartive study ,mind mapping, flowcharting helps comprehension and retention. Not to forget the contextual background that gives an enlightenment to the reader.
