My Mom is 83 and on dialysis. These were needed to cover the ports used for blood flow so she could shower but she couldn't get a sold seal and water got into the ports which is very dangerous and could lead to infection that goes directly into her heart. Be careful if this is what you are using them for

It is easy to use, resistant material does not allow water to enter and the glue does not hurt

My mom had a procedure done on her stomach, and needed a covering for the shower. These worked perfectly for her purposes. The adhesive seals well and keeps water out, protecting her wound and the port.
