This is by far the best stuff on the market for anyone with baby fine hair. I have tried almost everything out there and this is the ONLY one that actually WORKS! It doesn't weigh your hair down, it actually gives it lots of soft natural body.I use this after washing my hair. Towel dry, spray on scalp in several places, front back and sides. I use my fingers to massage it around. Then tilt my head upside down, spray the underside of hair, flip it back up, spray the top side. Scrunch and let dry naturally or on a very low setting with a blow dryer. You will NOT be disappointed!!

OK, 64 year old male. Parents were Irish/Welsh (dad) and Polish (mom). Dad had thick wavy black hair, mom baby-fine blonde hair, guess which one I inherited??? Baby-fine. Over the years I've tried numerous products to get thicker, fuller hair. After 60 years I've landed on two products, which used in combination, are AMAZING! First was Duke Cannon's "News Anchor Thick Hair" shampoo 2-in1. Next towel dry, spritz in some Lisa Ess Hair Instant Lift Thickening Spray, work the product in with your fingers, your hair should now look wet. Wait 3-5 minutes to let it set, then take a paper-towel and vigoursly [paper] towel dry your hair, with the last few drying strokes going from front-to-back. You should now have a your hair sticking straight-up and slightly bent back, like you saw a ghost, now take a fine toothed comb and gently style it the way you want. I do mine like Jack Lord in "Hawaii Five-0." Kristin Ess unfortunately does not have matching shampoo or conditioner targeted at people with baby-fine hair, they got products for every other hair type but mine, but this thickening spray really does work and it's not the least bit sticky. Bonus is that the product will hold your hair in position without having to use hairspray as long as you're not going outside in which case I'd recommend a light hairspray. There also no build-up, crunchyness (is that a word?) and the smell is nice despite what some others have said. I even appreciated thier attention to detail in designing the packaging and bottling since the spary top they use delivers just the right amount in each spray, enough to wet your hair with the product without having to pump the bottle 40 times. My wife told me that if I an find another woman with money I can have a girlfriend, so Krisitn, I'm looking at you gal!! Let me know! (-;

While the product provides some lift, it's primarily focused on the lower half of my hair. I was hoping for a more evenly distributed effect. The product also has a strong scent that may be overpowering for some.

I've tried many hair thickening products but this one is the best and at $15, a great bargain! I have fine hair that tends to lay flat when I try to style it but this product gives me lift without stickiness. I can also layer it and add more product when my hair is dry. I recommend it!

It has a very strong chemical smell. I saw other comments about this product smelling but disregarded it because most hair products do have a smell. This one is for real and it lingers even after washing my hair I still smell it.

Thought I could use this on dry hair but it needs to be used on damp hair. My fault I guess for not looking closely to see instructions

I bought this without knowing much about it and like it. The scent is ok, not heavy and wears off quickly. It works very well for styling. Planning on buying again.
