Great hair product! Makes my hair soft and have a lot of volume !

OK, 64 year old male. Parents were Irish/Welsh (dad) and Polish (mom). Dad had thick wavy black hair, mom baby-fine blonde hair, guess which one I inherited??? Baby-fine. Over the years I've tried numerous products to get thicker, fuller hair. After 60 years I've landed on two products, which used in combination, are AMAZING! First was Duke Cannon's "News Anchor Thick Hair" shampoo 2-in1. Next towel dry, spritz in some Lisa Ess Hair Instant Lift Thickening Spray, work the product in with your fingers, your hair should now look wet. Wait 3-5 minutes to let it set, then take a paper-towel and vigoursly [paper] towel dry your hair, with the last few drying strokes going from front-to-back. You should now have a your hair sticking straight-up and slightly bent back, like you saw a ghost, now take a fine toothed comb and gently style it the way you want. I do mine like Jack Lord in "Hawaii Five-0." Kristin Ess unfortunately does not have matching shampoo or conditioner targeted at people with baby-fine hair, they got products for every other hair type but mine, but this thickening spray really does work and it's not the least bit sticky. Bonus is that the product will hold your hair in position without having to use hairspray as long as you're not going outside in which case I'd recommend a light hairspray. There also no build-up, crunchyness (is that a word?) and the smell is nice despite what some others have said. I even appreciated thier attention to detail in designing the packaging and bottling since the spary top they use delivers just the right amount in each spray, enough to wet your hair with the product without having to pump the bottle 40 times. My wife told me that if I an find another woman with money I can have a girlfriend, so Krisitn, I'm looking at you gal!! Let me know! (-;

I have fine, thin, wavy, and very dry hair. This product makes a MASSIVE positive impact on my hair. It adds volume, lift, and texture without making it greasy. The only thing that would make it better is if it reduced my frizz slightly more. I have spent years trying to find a product that works well with my hair and this has come the closest. It provides a small amount of hold but an additional product will be needed for more sculpted looks. It works great for natural styles. Amazing value for what I paid, would gladly pay 1.5x.

Adds lots of volume but makes the hair closest to the scalp feel dirty on the second day.

This is a very good Product. I braid my hair in small braids to dry and spray this on. My hair is very shiny.

Been on my hair for five hours and I can still smell the chemical odor. Glad I won’t be tasting wine or have a hot date this evening. Seriously, no hot dates for married me, but I would be very self conscious smelling like this! It’s kinda like a cleaning product deodorizer smell. Yes, did impart nice volume to my fine but full head of hair. Only some shine as my medium blonde hair is appearing pretty matte. I can feel the grip that was imparted but hair has lessened a bit in volume since application. Product is not sticky or heavy and I don’t know yet if it will wash out well. Did not weigh my hair down . Not nearly the shiny, full, non/frizz, soft look I get from my Boldify Root Boost, but I need a thickening spray I can plane travel with and not a mousse. So am pushing through in my search for a travel compatible fabulous thickening spray

I saw this product on a youtube channel. It seemed to add lift to the person styling their hair so I tried it. It was terrible. I used it just as directed, no more, no less. There was so much residue on my hair. After applying and blow drying I, as instructed, proceeded to style my hair as normal (in this case a flat iron). The iron got constantly stuck on the product in my hair. It was not a smooth pass but bumpy, sticky pass with the iron. I managed to finish the styling with much frustration. There was more volume than normal but it was like straw! It just made my hair stick out in awkward clumps. I decided to try it again but this time to not use the amount of spritzes on the instructions. Same outcome. I am so disappointed with this product I'm returning it

Great scent and noticeable results. My hair has more body and life. Also works as a dry shampoo but dont overspray or you'll get a little residue. Will be buying this again.

Love love love the product on my fine thinning hair( I actually love all this brands products) ..but was shocked to discover it was such a high price on Amazon! Buy elsewhere for much better value.

I have very fine, thin hair. I bought this hoping it would increase the voluminosity of my hair - it didn’t. I don’t see any difference. Feels like a gimmick. Sad.

I have bought endless bottles of hair products which has cost a fortune but they have never worked I've finally found the right product , although very expensive it's worked a treat, I would definitely recommend
