My First Story Orchestra: Swan Lake: Press the buttons to hear 6 sounds

Beautiful books especially with the music snippets.

We were super excited for this book as we have another from the series that is paper instead of board book and have never had any issues with it over the past couple years. Sadly two of the pages do not play music, while the others still work. The buttons are easier to press for my toddler but if quality suffers we will have to stick with the paper versions. Update: the replacement we ordered started out with every page working, then one button broke and now a second and third has stopped working! We really like the book and wish it was better quality.

Really lovely books (we have 4 different ones) BUT.... intermittent working of the music and some that don't work at all after a very short time. Unreliable. Such a shame as our daughter loves the pictures and music (when working)

I got this book as part of a swan lake themed present for my baby cousin. I got a lovely jewellery box that also plays the same tune and is swan lake themed. I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the book and even more by the quality of the different music tunes that match with the story. I got it half price but it was an affordable price to begin with. I have no idea if the batteries will last long but there is an on and off switch at the back of the book.

The sounds in this book only lasted for two days! Then they became intermittent then three stopped playing altogether. Beware the 30 day return limit, this was bought in March for a granddaughter’s birthday in April. Amazon have advised we contact the manufacturer, based in China and no contact details on the book. An email to the publishing group has not been responded too. Maybe safer to purchase from a recognised book store.

They just don’t work for very long. The connections must break inside as some buttons stop working over time. I’ve returned 2 but now even the third one is giving up after a couple of months

After just a week 3 out of 6 pages don't work. It's the first time this happens to a music book, we have a lot of them. Although the book is pretty, it's sad the quality of the sound mechaniam is so bad.

These are great little books. I use them as filler for my 4 - 7 yo piano students. Highly recommend the series. However, "Used-Mint" is definitely open to interpretation. I've been at this long enough not to expect "used" and "mint" in the same package. However, dead batteries, the battery door doesn't close, the book was left on, and a dirty sticky spot on the back of the book where a sticker was removed is pretty far from mint in any sense of the word. If I misread the description, then that's on me, but pretty sure those things don't translate as mint. 5 stars for the book and the series, not the seller.

Beat up and broken. The book, purchased as “new” came broken, and taped… obviously returned. I needed this for a gift, and now have none

Our son loved this book. We originally got it at Costco, and it lasted about 6 months before one of the buttons stopped working. We got a new one on Amazon and it lasted an hour before all the buttons stopped working. We got another replacement and the same thing happened. My son isn’t rough with them and am able to return for a refund. These are defective and I wouldn’t recommend purchasing them through here.

I bought this version and the nutcracker version of the book. The music button on two of the pages stopped working a few weeks after I got the book and I had to return it and get a replacement. Now the same problem has happened with the nutcracker version of the book only 3 months after receiving the book. Unfortunately it’s too late for me to return it but seems to be an inevitable issue with the book.
