Good Quality
These are great fitting pants, good quality and the pants taper is just right, still loose enough to be comfortable. I’m 5’10, 170 lb, the 34x30l fit perfectly. Deep pockets.

Very good looking, take a few weeks to break in
Initial review after wearing them for about 1 month.I got the Erie color and I really do like the way they look: they’re a very dark blue. For years now I’ve only worn Lucky Brand 221 jeans — the ones made with Candiani denim from Italy are my favorites. But after looking on eBay for at least 1 month and failing to find my favorites I decided to try something new. I wanted a good looking, well made pair of jeans that cost less than $100 and felt good on me, so I read a bunch of reviews and decided to give Carhartt a try.At first I wasn’t too thrilled with my purchase because they felt a bit stiff and the fit felt a bit tight too (probably because of the “tapered” fit). But I think that was mostly because they were brand new. After at least 10 wears and 2 washes they feel a lot better and the fit feels a bit better too. They actually sit on my waist better than my Lucky jeans which tend to sit a bit below the waist. So probably because they wear a bit higher, the rear pockets felt a bit awkwardly high at first, but I’m getting used to it.The “on the waist” aspect of the tapered fit of these feels a little more "traditional adult” than the lower-riding Luckys which feel more “relaxed Hollywood hipster” to me — both are good in different ways. The only obvious downside is dog hair sticks to them a lot more easily than it does to my Lucky jeans. Maybe it’s because of the poly or because they’re still pretty new, or maybe it just seems like they do because the jeans are so dark white hairs can easily be seen on them? All I know is I have to spend a minute or two swiping dog hair off of them before I go out, which I never have to do with my Lucky jeans. A minor annoyance though. The quality seems good but note this pair was made in Mexico, not Canada or the USA. Nowadays you’ll have to pay at least $100 for denim Made in the USA. And as a matter of fact I think I’ll pay more for my next pair and see how they compare. But I’d say these are worth the $60 I paid for them...Overall I’m pretty pleased with them now that I’ve broken them in...

1 out or 5 pairs fits good and is comfortable
I’ve ordered the same size 36w32L in the past of the Rugged flex relaxed fit tapered leg. Here’s pictures side by side. The lightest colored jeans fit perfect and the way I want them. The 2 newer pairs are so baggy. Uncomfortable. Loose fit.The 2 darker pair were ordered together at the same time and the tags are different. I ordered these In January and just wore them for the first time over the weekend. So now I can’t even return them. So irritated. I’d recommend doing prime wardrobe in the feature with any carhartt clothing.New update8/01.2024.These one pair of Jean will not get comfortable like the other pair I ordered at the same time…. The fabric keep fraying inside the jeans and makes them so uncomfortable…. Did Frye sheet, fabric softener. Lint tape…. I still buy because like I said 1 out of 5. Is perfect… other than that carhartt does not live up to its name. 20 years ago.. They were the best. Not anymore

Excellent fit and comfort!
The fit of these are great! They are slimmer through the thighs but not too tight! The tiny bit of stretch they have to them is super comfortable. These don't shrink very much in the washer and dryer which is nice because the length stays the same and doesn't draw up and extra 2 inches like a lot of others and end up being too short. Now just need Carhartt to make a bleach wash in these and give us more color options!
