I love Florence Given! She is the perfect mentor to every girl and woman. I wish I had someone like her to look up to when I was younger. The book is amazing! The illustrations inside are spectacular and make it really eye catching. The whole book just grabs your attention. I’m not going to review the content of the text, just know that you HAVE TO get the book. It will change your perception and give you a sense of belonging and self affirming confidence.

Awesome so far. Florence is a brilliant woman &writer, her energy is vibrant and encouraging. Would recommend to any woman at any stage of life. Even after the first chapter I had to tell one of my sister's about this gem. The book is hard to put down, it feels validating, empowering, and friendly. Also every page is beautiful. The writer is well researched and practiced on this topic, if you haven't seen her videos on social media also id recommend checking her out. She strikes me as a fun and free individual, who makes it her mission to lift other women. She is an absolute inspiration when it comes to breaking away from people pleasing, shrinking ourselves, and muting our expression. A big thank you to her for all she does.

This is an amazingly powerful ,thought provoking and inspiring book.... every woman should read it. There is so much information here that I find I read a bit then spend time thinking about how my life has been affected by particularly societal and patriarchal conditioning. Which brings awareness and some healing as well as inspiring changing behaviours and expectations. This is the kind of book that will be with you for life to keep going back to. My only criticism is the frequent use of the "f" word, I am not a prude but just feel that it doesn't add anything to the content of this visually uplifting and amazing book. It might actually put some people off reading it.

Florence is the best friend we all need. This book is absolutely beautiful. It is a joy to hold in your hands. The illustrations are gorgeous, and every chapter is inspirational and uplifting. Every woman should invest in this and use it when journalling. There are so many insightful nuggets of wisdom that cheer you on and encourage you to live an authentic, expressive, mindful and meaningful life filled with simple joys. What sets this book apart from similar books with similar messages is the beautiful graphics that the author created for the book. She’s a very gifted artist.. Given is full of common sense and is an excellent advocate for women of all ages. Give this book to every young woman you know- and get a copy for yourself.

In short, this is liberal, flowery feminism wrapped in a feel-good package. If you’re ready to move beyond that and truly shake things up, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
