Belts don't work well for me in most cases because I have a large waistline. This rhinestone belt works just fine for my needs. The jewels are only across the front, and the rest is a thin, chiffon ribbon. I did not measure but I would say, from end to end, this "sash" is roughly 8 feet. The jewels go all the way across my ample waist, then there is plenty of ribbon for tying a bow in the back.

This adds just the right amount of elegance to my wedding dress. The ribbons tie in the back and the belt adds a delicate balance but is also sturdy enough to be worn all day. I can likely use this belt to accessorize other cocktail gowns after I wear it at my wedding. The rhinestones add a small bit of bling to any dress that could use a bit of flare.
