Really poor quality. 2 of the 3 LED black grills are coming off, there's no way to put them back on. The idea itself is great, if it wouldn't be coming apart.

I like this style of light. This type of light would look very nice in a contemporary house, full of similar linear lights. The ceiling would have to be designed to use this light. The problem is that you should not use this in an average home in the USA.This light is a fire hazard for most of us because it is not air tight and will allow for air exchange between your living and the attic. The light has about a 1/4" of space along both long sides of the light. In the case of a fire, this will allow a path for hot air, embers, and flame to bypass the drywall of the ceiling and easily get into the attic. If the ceiling is designed correctly to accommodate these lights, then no concerns, but most, if not all of the way houses are designed in North America will not allow for safely installing this light.A less problem is that this light is not a standard size, and so it has limited application for most people. So realize this is a custom sized light, for a custom install, in a custom ceiling.Another detail that is interesting is that this light is not symmetrical how it tilts. It does tilt easily, contrary to what other reviewers have stated. The screw pivot point is offset to one side of the fixture at about 80%. This is nice because if you want to tilt the light towards a wall to show off art, you can have the fixture drop down below the surface of the ceiling, or the other way the fixture will still tilt but remain flush to the ceiling.When tilted to its max, it is just about right for lighting up artwork. The CRI is 85, which is not bad, but I'd rather have 90+.I think that a room with a TV where you did not want any glare would be a good place to install these lights.

This light is well made. It works well and it's nice that the junction box is metal instead of plastic. Happy with it overall.

Down to business: the retention screws that allow you to angle the light in the housing have nylon bushings, which means you have to really crank on them to get them to lock in place, otherwise the bar just flops around. The problem is, the screws are very small, and soft, and strip out far too easily.Additionally, the spring brackets that hold the fixture against the ceiling / cabinet material are a bit weak, and the fixture sags.The light is bright and even, but it's just not a good fixture.

When I got this fixture delivered, I couldn't wait to open it. I was not disappointed- at least not in the fixture- just the installation instructions, Actually, there are no instructions- just a couple of illustrations which cover about two dozen different fixtures. Most of the illustrations, in fact- are for recessed lighting cans- not the linear array. Fortunately, I have some knowledge of electricity, and was able to figure most things out by myself. The only writing in the instructions is to refer to the "seller's description" which is the product description here on the website. That's because they include these generic, all-purpose instructions, and have no clue which fixture you bought.That aside, I was able to light the fixture and test the different color temps in just a few minutes. The color temp switch worked flawlessly, and the resulting lighting was incredibly beautiful. Installation is also very easy, as I have a suspended ceiling, removed a panel and was able to size the fixture perfectly. There is one thing I should mention- they do not tell you that you have to disassemble the driver box to get at the wiring. Along with this- there are two capped wires inside the driver box- LED signal leads, should you want to connect several of these fixtures together- but there is no mention of what these are nor their use. Still, this fixture is so beautiful and easy to install, that I could not take away a star because of the lousy installation instructions. I had it up and running in just a few minutes, and am thrilled at how it looks.

Having worked as an electrician for many years, I've seen and installed a lot of light fixtures. This fixture has some really cool design features. I like the quality of the fixture as well. The string of lights also pivots or angles toward a wall when ceiling mounted. Has a temperature selection (3 levels) and a separate transformer unit.
