I have had this thing for 6 month snow. It is a total game changer for my work and study area. It *evenly* lights up my whole desk. I've positioned it so that it's above my 2 monitors. If I need to read something in the evening or sew or cut my nails it's just a handy button away from switching on. I love the temperature control: I keep it nice and warm :)It also dims from powerfully bright to dim enough that it's comfortable at 2am darkness.Note that it seems very flexible, but it likes to be within certain ranges: it's not totally flexible. I set it up once and never move it again, because it's hard to get it back to the position I want. But the great thing is that it is adjustable to the shape that you want. 100% recommend, how did I live my life without it?I don't know how long the lamp bulb will last; hopefully for a decade.

It's very bright and very flexible, with some nice features (lights can be flipped to point to the ceiling, USB charger, and magnetic touch remote control).My only slight concern is the moulded plastic anchor point where the long vertical neck connects to the metal base. It looks a bit delicate and seems as though it might crack someday. Only time will tell, and I certainly won't be lifting or moving it around while holding the neck. It also gets scorching on the highest light power settings. Luckily, the light power setting just below the highest is more than bright enough for most situations and doesn't get very hot.Other than that, the rest of it feels like okay quality, and it does look very nice on my desk.

If you have a home office, and are unhappy with traditional lighting, have a look, measure up, then buy it – you will not be disappointed.I needed proper illumination for my computer desk, where it did not make me shinny on conference calls. The wide ( very wide ) head gives even illumination, and the touch sensitive controls make adjustments for early mornings or late nights very easy.My desk is not that deep, so I had to be a little creative in the positioning, but the non-slip base and solid metal mounting frame even made that simple. The flexible neck is a work or art – I have it twisted forward and sideways at the same time, to centre it over my monitor, and once positioned it stays in place.This is a lot to pay for a desk lap, but worth every penny. Very sturdy metal construction, well finished, with clear, easy to use controls. One small safety screw to lock the head in place, and even that is a proper screw, not a cost cutting self-tapper into plastic.

Used for a couple of months now and really like how it lights up my workspace. Adjustable in several ways and very happy with quality. - Had an issue with remote not working but contacted seller and issue resolved quickly (only needed to pair the remote with the lamp and working fine - the instructions for pairing were one of the first pages in the manual , so that was my fault not theirs).

The light emitting from the lamp is very good, nice and bright, (I use it over my art desk), the only thing that is a small problem is that the flexible area at the top of the arm, (see photo 3), is not quite strong enough to keep the light exactly where you want it, so until you get used to it being there you may keep hitting your head on it when you get up, can only imagine this would be the same in any scenario? I have to say though I am very happy with the lamp, great white light which is a really good length at 31.5" and evenly spreads over my A1 surface, good clamp system to secure where you want the lamp and a reasonable length cable.

Bought this for my son’s desk, really happy with it. The build quality is good, the adjustable warmth/light levels are great for studying, reading or working on the computer.

Light works well. Remote control loses connection. Previously been able to reconnect remote within two months of purchase. Have been now attempted various times and various new batteries remote control will not connect.
