Every mechanical engineering student will likely be required to purchase a book on this subject at some point in their collegiate career, whether you should purchase this non US version depends heavily on how much you mind deviating from your professor's assigned problems, if they're using the much more pricey US version. Many teachers these days assign problems through third party sites, so for some the difference in problem details may not even matter.As far as the quality of the book goes, it's cheap very thin paper in black print. No issues with legibility, however I did notice a few typos in a couple of important areas where equations/derivations are shown. The reader should be on the lookout for such mistakes.A student engaged with the course material should have no issue gaining competence in the subject using this book.

It may be the "Special Indian Edition", but the math and science is still universal. Don't worry, it's printed in English.

The book came on time, but the cover doesn't look like new. Also, no where is stated that the book is printed grayscale (black and white, no color). Тhe print quality is unsatisfactory. Atleast it is in SI units which is good for me
