Working as it should

This is dumb. I purchased this adapter to use with a bi-directional scanner. Because there are only 3 pins wired to the obd2 side, you only have access to generic codes and limited live data. The seller should disclose that their device cannot access full features of the 38 pin connection.

Everything plugged in to what it needed to plug into, but I wasn’t able to pull up any codes with it. Don’t know if it was the cable or my scanner Home Depot.

Good quality and price

It acted like it was connected, but I got zero data communication. Sorry, I wanted it to work, but no go. If you’re using an Autel unit, get the Autel adapter. It works.

I had some hope that this cable would magically improve the information from my car's obd 1 port. I tested it on a 90 Chevrolet corvette. The cable does connect with the appropriate pins on both ends but the results were disappointing. I first tried it with a Bluetooth reader. The power light did not illuminate. I then connected it to a wired reader, but it didn't read any information.I cannot recommend this product.
