Not so waterproof
Bought it back in February of this year (2025), and used it as many times as it should be used and the way they tell you to use it, in the shower since it's "waterproof". Thing is, yesterday 30/08/2025 (7 months after I bought it) when I went to charge it, I found out the battery isn't charging no more, yes I tried to fix it but it was hopeless. I didn't get to use it more than 20 times and it broke. When it worked it was awesome, but I wouldn't recommend using it while the water is running in the shower. Disappointing is the word that describes it the best. Edit: After reading my review they sent me another one, this one has lasted much more. No complaints!

First time using one and it’s perfect
I used to use and a beard trimmer and usually got nicked at least once. I went everywhere down there and it got it all with no nicks and did better and easier than ever before. Even got my shoulders and back a bit with no worries of cutting myself at all. The light is really useful as well to see missed hairs.

Sweet Product
Very nice product. Good at trimming down the area, but not going completely bald down there. The flashlight function is pretty awesome, and the product has a nice weight to it, too. Pretty expensive, but I'd say it's worth it, especially as a gift.

Stopped working after 6 months
So I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance on it, not once but twice. I ordered one for myself in June 2024 (I’m a chick) but don’t like shaving, and prefer to not to have to use a guard because I like the cut to be as close to the skin. It worked really well that I ordered one for my teen son and husband a month later, and even ordered an extra head replacement for their trimmer. We all agreed it was nice to use, no nicks or cuts, you could get close to the skin and not be scared you’re going to mutilate your genitals, held a charge, like it was a good purchase. Then yesterday I went to use mine in the shower (it states it’s waterproof) and the thing wouldn’t turn on. Nothing. I tried to charge it, nothing. It won’t turn on, the light isn’t coming on. So I decide to put it in the other charger (thinking maybe it’s that) and nothing. So we take the other trimmer, put it in my charger (thinking it could be the charger not working) and their trimmer lights up and charged in my docking station. An hour or so later, their trimmer is not only fully charged but now, will not turn off. Now I could chalk up my trimmer not working anymore as a defective product, we’ve all had something defective. But to have TWO trimmers and have BOTH of them having an issue, nah! That is not cool. And the fact that their customer service has no phone number to actually talk to someone, that sucks even more. And what kills me, is their home office is like 30 minutes from me. Whatever. I would not recommend this trimmer to anyone. It’s not worth the cost, the disappointment of going to use it, just for it to not work. I sent an email to the company (but I’m well past their 90 day warranty) so we’ll see what happens, but for something I’ve only had a few months to die out, not one item, but two, from the same company, no thanks. Keep searching for that unicorn trimmer ladies (and gentlemen). *Update* Contacted the company by email, there was no number on their website, to let them know my situation. First they asked for pics of the trimmers, then proof of purchase with screenshots of my Amazon order. Sent that back. Then they replied if I tried plugging the charging cord directly into the trimmer. My husband and I both went online to troubleshoot BEFORE contacting them. At that point, I told them they can either replace them or not. They replaced them by saying they’re shipping the newer 3.0 plus trimmer, 2 of them. I absolutely appreciate them resolving the issue, but I will not buy from them again, which sucks because the trimmer hasn’t knocked me once in all the time I’ve used it. I originally gave 1 star because I couldn’t believe two products could both have problems 6 months after using them, but I’ve changed it to 4 stars. 1 for the trimmer not causing knicks or cuts, 2 for the light on the trimmer, 3 because the charge does seem to last (when it works) and 4 because of their customer service. Like others have said, try it but I wouldn’t expect too much just in case. Like most things these days YMMV. Thank you again to their CS.

Low quality, blade replacement SCAM
As a man who appreciates good quality, If I could give this zero stars, I would. I only made this purchase because i had cheap waterproof ball shaver for several years that I was able to open up and clean out and it worked great for years with just little maintenance until recently one of the times cleaning it the top of it broke and wouldn’t go back on, so I decided to cough up some extra change and get another one and rather than going cheap i wanted a slightly better one i could recharge that would hopefully last just as long or longer so i went with one of these manscaped trimmers that I hear so much about, hoping the extra cost will be justified by the quality and how long it should last only to open up the box and to my surprise find a ceramic blade on half of the cutting edge, i laughed out loud and i thought this must be a mistake as common sense would assure you that rubbing ceramic and metal together over time wouldnt last very long before you have a dull useless cutting edge then i read the directions and they advertise it as “skinsafe technology” yea ok ceramic blades that will still cut you if you dont know how to be careful, but now you need to replace them all the time. they recommend replacing the blade every 2-3 months as expected the blade will not last long. So for $80-$120 they then want you to subscribe for a $20 blade every few months, mind you my last buzzer was $35 and lasted YEARS with out anything but changing batteries. When i buy things i want to buy them once, and i want them to last thats why i am willing to pay extra for quality, but sometimes brand names hype themselves up and the name you pay for is worth more than the product they make. i dont want a blade that needs to be replaced multiple times a year for the same cost the whole buzzer was to begin with, id be better off just buying a new buzzer every year, but i am not a wastefull type so I instantly started the return I opted for a german made braun trimmer for similar cost but it has all metal blades that should outlive this manscaped bull crap of a company

30 month usage
Very good product but only lasts for about 30 months though. Mine just went out and won’t charge anymore after cleaning, but the product is worth it

I bought on a try it out mind set as I got tired of using the WAHL hair trimmer to do the crutch area as I had a few nicks on occasions. So with all the advertising hype about MANSCAPE razors at most I'd have a closer shave and trimming razor for most tricky bits and no nicks " so far ", great that it's waterproof so in the shower is pretty handy as it saves cleaning up the bathroom floor and vacuuming after a shave. Warm water rinse off for the razor is easier than the my other trimmer. Facial hair and neck hair trims are much safer now than with the meat hungry WAHL.
