First I want to thank the manufacturer for creating the lock/handle with passcodes on both sides. This is the absolutely BEST way to help keep a loved one with Alzheimer’s safe. We tried just using alarms on the doors and that just wasn’t feasible. We can sleep at night KNOWING our family member won’t be sneaking out of the house at any hour of the night where she would be in real danger. We purchased two and put one on the front door and one on the back door. Installation was simple. Again, if you want to protect your loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia BUY THESE…one of the BEST purchases I have ever made.

I installed this on my gate. I love the flexibility. You can leave one side unlocked and lock only the other side meaning you need a code to get in. Or you can require a code on both sides. Multiple codes can be installed. I only wish you could install more door codes than the limited amount this product allows.And the only real problem is that you cannot leave it unlocked. It will automatically revert to needing a code after a certain amount of time left in the unlock positionThis presents a fire hazard if someone needs to escape from inside the backyard to get out.

This keypad door lock works like a charm. Easy to follow instructions and I installed it in about 15 minutes. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it shipped very quickly.

East to fit and use, good security

This is great! I needed this for my dad with dementia to keep him indoors so he would quit wandering off. I'm really happy this comes with adjustable auto locking time which can be adjusted separately between inside and outside. Quality is great but the rubber grip ring moves around slowly from use so it needs to be put back occasionally, wish it was glued in place. Numbers are backlit but don't come on until you press any button, thankfully that doesn't mess up putting in the combination at all. Pretty sure you can set only one side to lock if needed depending on your application.
