As a family of 4, this is a great lounger we are all truly enjoying. The adjustable backrest makes me feel like we’re living in Goldilocks and the 3 Bears..it’s just right, but for all of us! I love being able to sit up and read while my husband prefers to recline back and relax. The lounger is sturdy yet comfortable, and it doesn’t tip or wobble, even when my two kids love to run over to it together to relax and take a break from swimming. Once it arrived, it was easy to put together. It’s great for inside or outside the pool and the sandbox under the seat is easy to fill to weigh down the lounger on the pool shelf. The material is high-quality and easy to clean, and it stays cool even in the sun, which is a huge plus. Whether we’re enjoying the sun, chatting or reading, this beautiful, sleek lounger really elevates our backyard and has quickly become a poolside favorite.

The vero chair is a nice addition to my pool tanning ledge. It was easy to assemble and not too heavy to carry. The shape is comfortable, yet unique, and adds some style to my otherwise plain deck and pool. My favorite feature is the versatility of use. You can use it in the pool, or on your patio. It is water and weatherproof, so I don't have to worry about damage. My only critique is the price. I would love to own a few more, but the price is a little high.

First, if you have ever bought one of those plastic kitchens or wagons from Toys R Us for your kids back in the day, this is made of the same type of plastic. A lot are charging way more for “pool” lounge chairs. Assembly, you need a screwdriver and a power drill. It can be an inexpensive drill, it does not matter. Easy step by step instructions for one person that might take some 10 minutes to complete, others up to an hour. They require that you drill screws into the plastic where there is only a slight indentation in the plastic, no predrilled holes exist. So the first one, you might be slightly hesitant as nobody wants to drill holes in the wrong place. Just look at the picture in the instructions closely and trust the process. It will be fine. I did not use a special attachment to drill a pilot hole. I simply pressed the drill firmly on the spot where I wanted the hole to create a starter location, then I added the screw and it went right in. Study the diagram in the instructions and drill exactly as the picture shows. It will work out perfectly. This product has additional attachments you can order to hold your phone and a cup and also a pillow. I didn’t like the way it looked. On here I searched for white Adirondack cup holder and bought the one seen in the photo. It’s perfect and holds many different cups including a 40 oz Stanley. It came with two screws that I easily drilled into the under side of the arm rest. We also have this orange hammock pool float that is a great dual purpose pillow. This chair definitely needs a pillow. It has been so nice to sit and have my feet in the water without fully committing to swimming. A relaxing addition to the backyard. I bought a bag of play sand .5 cu. ft. from the lawn and garden section at Home Depot. There is a compartment in the chair you fill with sand. It takes less than half of the bag of sand. The chair does not float. It stays in place completely. We even had a massive storm with tornado sirens and high winds, the chair did not move an inch. I found floats and cushions and branches and leaves everywhere after the storm, the chair remained in place. After that, I have zero concerns about the chair moving. This is a great chair to read in or dry off in, not just for sunbathing. I am very happy with this purchase. We like it a lot!

As a mom whose only request was a sun shelf while building our new pool, finding the perfect sun shelf seating has been very important to me. When I first saw the Step2 Vero Chair, I was immediately excited that it sat taller and more upright than my Step2 Vero Pool Loungers. I love my loungers, but I was interested in a seat I could sit more upright in while watching my kids play in the pool. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell this chair was made for many summers of pool use. The chair is very sturdy and has a sleek, clean design that looks perfect in my pool. This chair was simple to put together, taking me only 15 minutes or so to complete. Another aspect we appreciate is the ease of maintenance. The chair is weatherproof, meaning I can leave it in the pool without worrying about deterioration. Cleaning the chair is simple as well! After a bit of mud got on the chair, I was able to simply wipe it off. Overall, the Step2 Vero Chair has exceeded my expectations. It's well-made, comfortable, and looks great in my pool. I expect this chair will be in high demand at my home this summer! We love these chairs. They are very comfortable and look great in our pool. Marks are not as easy to scrub off as some reviewers have said but we haven't scoured it with anything except a wet towel so far. The assembly instructions were horrible, they expect you to know you need to drill a hole in the plastic with nothing more than a faint circle on the diagram. Most people (including us) are hesitant to drill into the hard plastic of these chairs after paying $200 for them. So we went on YouTube and saw a much better tutorial that showed us how to drill and where exactly to drill. Besides that ordeal, the chairs are nice and sturdy.

It arrived! This was sold out for a little so super excited to finally receive. Shipping came very fast via Fed Ex. The box was light weight and easy to move. The lounger comes in three parts and with everything needed for assembly except a screwdriver. I was able to unbox and assemble in 10 minutes without any assistance. We are a very active family and use our lilly pad area either for adult chill or relaxation or sometimes for the little ones to play and splash around and sometimes with our big family we use it for both at same time. I need versatility. So after assembly I put this in my pool to see how it went without adding in the water or sand to weight it down. With a little assistance in getting it to sink, the lounger went down and stayed down and didn’t move or float around. This is huge bonus, one I absolutely love about this, if you have used other loungers you know what I mean. This chair has areas to add additional weight such as sand or water to make sure in it doesn’t move. However, without the requirement of adding in extra weight I can add this in to pool and remove without extra muscle needed. (Aka my husband) I just got it to ledge let it drain and then enjoyed on side ledge of pool. I love that I have the option to add in the weight but huge win I don’t need to. Again, this chair is perfect for in pool or side of pool or really just lounging anywhere. Plus this Step 2 material is so durable and with a little quick power wash it looks brand new making it super easy to clean and maintain. Absolutely worth every penny. This one’s a keeper.

I looked forever for pool chairs for our 12” tanning ledge and took a chance on these working and they do! It is very hard to find chairs for tanning ledges that are a little deeper but these working great. They are very comfortable with a slight back recline. I can spend hours in them reading! I definitely recommend
