I installed this cable to link my main (Ubiquiti) switch/homelab rack in the basement closet to our living room switch that has our TV/Roku/audio streamer and a gaming machine attached. It's an older home, and the run required drilling through the foundation wall and running along the outside of the house. I've had rodents chew through several fiber SAN cables at a previous work installation, so the steel armor and strong outer insulation was a real plus, and it's still flexible enough to have good bend radius. Be careful with the caps when running the cable, they come off fairly easily. I would have liked if they'd included the small clips that hold the pair of LC connectors together, but having them loose is also easier when running the cable. The cable markers are a handy touch. I've got solid 10G connection now between the switches, which really speeds up large file transfers and backups. This cable was a really good value for the money, IMO.

Used this for a 10g run between floors in my house. Other than *way* overestimating the amount of fibre I needed, this cable fit the bill. The cable ends not being coupled together actually came in handy, as it allowed the cable to be run through a 2x4 that previously had a coax cable in it without having to drill a larger hole. Not a huge advantage (many times you can de-couple the connectors anyway, but not always), but when in the crawlspace of your house, any saved effort is appreciated! Pull eye appeared durable and was quite handy, as I was able to tape it to the end of the coax I was removing and pull it through the flex conduit that (thankfully) my home builder had used between floors. I used a small amount of cable pull lubricant just to be sure, but I think it would have worked regardless. Once polarity was swapped appropriately, cable linked up and has performed flawlessly, which you'd hope is expected!

Had to give this review a star so it would allow me to post this warning: Be very careful where and how you use this. If you're going to pull use very little force. At the end of the run we found it had pulled apart throughout the line. I spent a grand on three lines then had to ripped it all off again. Vendor offered a refund without delay. My opinion and based on my images Missing the armored part! as they where laying out wire the found it easily got exposed and just two fiber wires only NO armored part at all as it show in image.... Sorry for the bad images, I paid a lot for this and got a lemon!

This cable is truly incredible. Its thin and strong. Love the dust covers it comes with. Its also kink resistant. These armored cables used to cost hundreds of dollars. Very happy with it.
