Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: The ultimate piano practice books! - I grew up on Hanon's Exercises, and wanted to give my current student clean, new copies. Getting to grips with these exercises, and working through them steadily, ensures great flexibility and strength in the fingers, and trains the mind and memory like no other set of exercises does. Despite the pages of black dots, these can be fun to play, quite tuneful (even hummable – try using some of them as vocal exercises too!) and satisfying. Review: No complaints - No further comment

Hanon do the job
I think community pretty much hate those exercises. The arguments are that exercises are boring, non musical, may causes injury etc. etc. I would totally agree with them but ... First, "exercises are not musical". Of course they are not because they are not meant to be, they meant to provide repetitive patterns so all fingers are included. The "exercises are boring". Well they are only boring if you make them boring. By concentrating whether exercises are played correctly, they are not to me. "They may cause injury". I agree so they supposed to be done with cautions and preferably with a teacher. Not only fingers, muscles in fingers are involved but muscles in forearm. In the end, exercises help me to make wrists flexible as exercises involve slight shifting.

Undisputable--it's a Hanon! Good in bringing back dexterity to those fingers that haven't played the piano for years.
