Power On Off Button + Volume Button Side Button Replacement Repair Part for Google Pixel 5 (Black)

Broke after only 5 days. This looks like the OEM part but the OEM part has little foam pads glued to side that goes inside the phone which probably helps it last longer. This doesn't have those little foam pads which might be why it broke almost immediately. My recommendation is to just get a phone case and put the broken button back in the slot. The case will hold it in place.

I bought the set to replace my power button. It's junk. I carefully installed the part according to instructions I found on line. The replacement part ell out and was lost within 2 days. There's a rubber retainer feature which is simply not big enough to retain the button. Find another solution without design flaws.

My Pixel 5 is fixed with one of these buttons.

Just falls out right after putting it in. Obviously missing components that hold it in place.

A piece of the power button fell off after two months. Worked well for the first two months but not a permanent solution.

I bought this for the power button because the one on my 3+ year old Pixel 5 suddenly fell out. The replacement simply popped right in, and my phone's power button is working again, good as new! No phone disassembly necessary.

Avoid this at all cost! Ordered twice after thinking the first may have been an installation error, using a green part in a black phone (which I initially ordered because itshipped in 1 day instead of two) or just a defective part. Both broke inside of 24hrs after installation. Go elsewhere for this replacement part.
