This is not only well engineered, it's easy to clean, easy to use, easy to control the heat level and durable. I'm looking forward to trying different ingredients in the cheeses. I'm also going to experiment with trying melted chocolate to use on ice cream, cake and other sweets by adding ingredients such as cinnamon and raisins and marshmallows into the trays just to see what it does. The grill top will allow us to cook meat and sear veggies for use in the melted cheese. It's going to be a ton of fun and I'm excited to see how interesting and delicious the creations are.

This is a great product especially if you have house guests! Easy to clean! Variable heat settings! Very compact. Great price vs going to habachi!

We just got this and used it for the first time. It worked pretty well - there are a couple of issues this one has that we did not have with our old one that finally broke down on us after many many years: 1. This is hard to tell when it's on high or low, so that's annoying 2. The cooking top heats up pretty high - which is good, but then with meats or anything greasy, also gets very smoky. We cooked the samed things on our old one, which was a stone top, and did not ever have a smoke issue. Beyond that - this is very fun to use for family fun meals!

I love this grill!! It's easy to clean, use, and transport!! It has a decent size grill base so you can usually cook for a family in one round!!!

I was in Germany for a New Year's celebration. It is common to celebrate with friends cooking around the raclette. I bought one immediately upon my return to the U.S. My family and friends love this.

Why a Raclette comes with only ONE spatula is beyond me..
