The material feels like glass and is smooth. There is a bit of a “seam” line that separates the bottom half into halves but it’s not visible on the top. It looks a bit like a ship and sits well on the flat bottom. So this could be used as a small paperweight as well. The design shows dragons on the sides and a chinese symbol on the top. The top looks a bit like an overflowing treasure chest. Naturally I have no way to comment on whether this truly brings good luck, but the design and energy from the warm yellow color of this product are positive to me.

Beautiful and very well made! The glass is smooth throughout and the perfect golden color. Both sides have a dragon and the center has a raised coin with Chinese characters. Love the energy and meaning behind the Yuan Bao. Love it so much I have already purchased two for family members. I highly recommend. Nice price point as well.
