Excellent value excellent guitar
I was skeptical because of the price but this is an AMAZING guitar especially for the value. The QC is impeccable. The wood and finish is beautiful. Only a few paint spots here and there were off. The intonation is great. The fretboard feels great with some really beautiful harmonic points. It feels like this guitar was designed by a guitarist. Only a few cons. The volume knob is pretty much useless. I might replace the pot with a higher quality one. The pickups are GOOD, but not 'great' but perfectly serviceable. 9/10 would buy again.

High Quality, Low Price
What a great guitar! Especially at this price. Came very well packaged with a high quality cable and some allen wrenches for adjustment. Arrived almost perfectly in tune and in flawless condition. Beautiful Violet Flame finish, lots of nice touches that say this guitar should cost much more than it does, including the beautiful one of a kind headstock, and the binding around the body, perfectly blended in under the clear coat, and along the sides of the beautiful Rosewood fretboard. Jumbo ball and stainless steel frets are a perfectly aligned and very comfortable to use. Tuners work great and the guitar has an overall tight and precise feel to it. Volume knob and three way switch for the double humbuckers also feel like quality parts. The sound is clear and powerful, very strong pickups and responds very well to effects. Can sound like a classical guitar or a heavy metal machine. The neck feels very slender and easy to get your hand around. Everything works well including the tuners which are very precise. That's the biggest takeaway for me is that this is a precision made instrument, and whoever built it cared about what they were doing. I heard in a review video that Leo James is a real guy and I would like to personally say Thank You for an amazing guitar at a super low price. I don't know if these will be affected by tariffs but I would recommend buying one of these guitars asap even though it would still be a deal at a much higher price. I'm sure there is more I could say but I we'll leave it there and strongly recommend that you buy this guitar. I will definitely be looking at other guitars from this brand. Shipping was fast and arrived sooner than expected. Thank you. I love this guitar.

solid buy well worth the money
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this because of 2 reviews by the Richard James and Gyurtar max. Came quicjkly in a undamaged box packed tight in styrofoam. small dent on head stock almost unnoticeable that doesn't effect playing or appearance, at this price point not enough to worry about. The action was a little high had to lower, has some fret buzz will have to dress a fret or 2. Sounds like there is a ground issue weill have to open to look. out side of the ground the guitar plays and sounds good feels good. The neck was very dry and I used lemon oil, looks better now. Light weight, easy to play, easy to sweep pick. neck is straight. the tuners are great stays in tune easy to use very smooth. if it were not for the ground issue and the fret buz this would easily be my new fav guitar.

Leo Jaymz 1st Gen, Someone returned and I purchased for a song.
Was looking for a new axe to play, i play some bass and dabble on other instruments and like to record and make my own stuff. I really wasn't looking to go back to my local Guitar Center. Did a little research and came across this guitar from a friend. Then saw a video of another person playing it and commenting how nice it was for such an inexpensive guitar. Looked online and here on Amazon and they were out of the model and color i wanted Violet Flame and Violet Ocean. It sold out fast apparently for those 1st gen units.A week later i get notice while on amazon website and see one used marked returned unknown reason, but in original box with everything. Took a chance thinking minor things i can fix easy enough and setup is par for the course on most guitars anyway, and they(Amazon) have money back if it doesn't work so.Guitar arrived and the outside box didn't inspire hope if i am honest. I calmly opened it up taking my time and then got to the inner boxing and foam protection molded blocks. To my surprise it looked new, untouched. Gently picked it up and checked it for blemishes, none. Checked the neck, Seems straight and the frets smooth. The back of the neck was nice and smooth. Nut while plastic isn't junk plastic, its actually a decent quality for the type it is. I checked the fret board with scale and frets with gauge, it was all within spec. restrung it and tuned. Holy cow it is an easy no frills guitar to play. Most use pedal effects anyway and this single knob 3 switch is built for shredding and is just a joy to play.I paid no where near retail for it (embarrassed to say how little i paid). Absolutely love this guitar almost as much as i did my 1983 Aria Pro II Urchin Deluxe. I think this guitar has that type of potential , really. The 3rd gen models now come with cases and locking tuners to make them even better low cost options!Appreciate the detail that went into this guitar that was designed for entry level but plays and shows above its station. Obviously shipping a guitar can have an impact on your experience as it could arrive damage, i was lucky and didn't suffer that in this case and just want to be fair and honest with folks i feel i got very lucky with this purchase to get a nice instrument undamaged. Thanks for listening to my long winded and personal review.
