This ampole cutting tool is great quality and works well. It is easy to use and allows you to open ampoles and small bottles safety. It is a good size and works with a variety of ampoles. I also like that it comes with replacement grinding wheels too. I'm very pleased with this well made, durable, good value tool.

This glass ampoule cutter is a useful to have when handling glass vial for medical prep. Simply glide the cutter around the vial. It scores the glass making it easier to snap off. It also comes with an additional 2 grinders for when it needs replacing (but for me that will be ages). It also has a built in hook that also helps take of the metal and silicone stopper on the top of medicine vials, making it easier to remove when you need to draw up the medicine. Ps it does take a bit of time getting used to handling and using it but once your used to it, it's a big help.

Ordered this for my daughter who is taking medicine. It’s a good addition for her medical equipment bag. The product’s quality is excellent!

Simple yet effect tool to help open ampules and remove lids. Solid plastic. Made with safety in mind. Also comes with five spare glass cutting discs. Should last a long time.

The ampoule breaker works really well after you scorn a line in the ampoule and use the breaker part of the tool to finish the job. A++ great tool for the money

First time receiving ampoules for skincare products and had no idea how to open them. I first rotated the ampoule around the grinding wheel. Then inserted the ampoule into the appropriately sized hole and snapped the top off. The tops did not snap off in a straight line though, despite using the grinding wheel. I tested this on two ampoules and same results for both so not sure the grinding wheel actually does anything. Still, this tool kept my hands safe from any glass shards so giving this a 5-star review.

This tool works pretty good for opening unscored ampules. I take the ampule and turn it a full circle around the grinding wheel to the top part of the ampule that breaks open and so far I've gotten a straight, clean break everytime. I would say that it's almost as good as the Clic-Open Ampule Opener that was popular years ago! This knifty tool is very versatile and definitely well worth the price!

Smooth, quick, and with none of the usual finger anxiety or accidental blood sacrifices. • Multiple ampoule size slots = genius. It’s super convenient to have different size options built in so you’re not jamming a 1mL top into a 10mL cutter. • Compact and durable. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap—this thing was clearly made for people who open vials for a living (or for fun, no judgment). • Way better than trying to use gauze, a towel, or your last shred of hope. 🙄 The Not-So-Good: • The vial opener does not work at all. It might as well be decorative. It doesn’t grip, doesn’t twist, and made zero impact on any vial I threw at it. • Slightly misleading marketing. This is an ampoule cutter—full stop. Anything beyond that is wishful thinking. ⸻ ✅ Verdict: If you’re buying this for ampoules, it’s fantastic—slick, safe, and satisfying, with smart size options. If you need something to open vials, this isn’t it. Still totally worth it for the ampoule-opening glory alone. TL;DR: Incredible for cutting ampoules cleanly (with handy size options), but the vial opener is just along for the ride.
