Excellent set of Chuck’s to train
These nunchucks are perfect for practice. I’ve used nunchucks for 15 years and I still like to use this type of product for practice or for new tricks. I’ve already would’ve killed myself. Had I not been using these and tried practicing with authentic product. I believe this is a must have for anyone who wants to be proficient in the use of this product.

Product as advertised
I was started training to use chucks the summer before my 5th birthday. I was training with local twins that were brow belts in Shorin-Ryu (A Japanese art that would fall under the category of "Karate") that were up for their black belts. They had to put a demo together and they thought having a 4 years old use a pair of chucks would look awesome in front of a crowd. They were correct. I spent that entire summer practicing these routines they were teaching me on top of training me as a white belt in Shorin-Ryu. I made it to a yellow belt with them by 6 and by 8 I was in a paid for school instead of practicing in their yard which wasn't possible in rain or winter. They also allowed me to keep my earned Yellow belt after testing me which was nice. They remind me of that first set they gave me. I asked why they didn't give me the real ones to practice with and they replied "So you don't hurt your head". That said, these look like more of a decoration than for practice. They are very light but that didn't stop me from spinning them around for an hour. I couldn't help myself. I always found the Nunchaku so much fun. They can generate up to 90Lbs per sq" so they CAN be dangerous and that is where these come in. After twirling them around striking everything I could they were no worse for wear. They are fine to practice with. I would recommend the ball bearing models that move smoother but these are just fine to begin with. You can practice your forms and whatever else strikes your fancy, like chuck combos and defensive techniques. For the price they are a good set. And due to the price would make a Halloween costume look that much more authentic.

They came apart in a few minutes
I got these for my son to play with, they are nice and soft. It would be very hard to hurt yourself with them. They are super light weight and the cord/rope that connects them together is good even when it wraps your hand, it doesnt cause any damage. The sad part about these is that he probably got about 10 minutes of use out of them before they separated. I cant tell if its just because the rope was not tied very well or if it actually snapped somewhere, but it came out of both sides. I assume it was probably tied, or maybe glued but it wasnt done very well. I will attempt to tie them back off but its really hard to get the rope back around the inside of them, you definitely would need some sort of needle nose plyer or something similar. Overall though, they would be great if they had not separated so quickly.

Great practice nunchucks for a klutzy beginner like me.
I grew up watching a lot of martial arts movies late at night, so I've always wanted to learn how to use nunchucks. This MARCOLO Flexible Rubber Nunchucks is great for a beginner like me and, as I'm learning from scratch, even just as a tool to help with flexibility & muscle coordination, it's already proving useful. I like this lightweight foam so much better than the wooden or heavier plastic kinds that hurt like heck when I'd accidentally whack myself on the head or back. I also love the dragon/phoenix design, which matches a lot of items I own. One of the product photos reflects the different color combinations this product comes in, but I don't believe you get a random color. I received the one reflected in the first photo which is the black & red version.

Soft Nunchakas
These are basically plastic nun-chucks covered with a foam insulation. One is red, the other is white. The insulation is about 1/4 inch thick. They are held together with doubled-up paracord. The foam makes the nunchucks softer hitting, but not exactly soft. They do fit very comfortably in the hands. They are as mobile/flexible as regular nunchucks. They are advertised as being bendable, but this is limited. They will only bend about a quarter inch before they snap. They are still usable if they snap, but I wouldn't snap them too much.
