Best upgrade I have done for my 1978 Bronco with a 460. Wiring was really easy and she fires up very easily. Still going through the learning process for the ECM but so far the difference is huge over the old Edelbrock that I had on there.

Simple hook up and it just works!... have over 1000 miles on my 350 daily driver. They are right... Never buy a carburetor again!!!

Used the FITECH #30001 for a Olds 455. Lets start this by saying I have been a professional technician for 33 years with certifications in advanced level engine performance, so I know what I am doing. A customer brought me this kit to install on his Olds 98 with a new 455 engine. This install has been one of the most fustrating experiences of my career. The fitech was installed with there #40001 fuel system. The car has been at our shop for months now trying to fix all the issues with this system. The frame mounted fuel pump has failed twice. The ecm failed once, 2 fuel pressure regulators have failed one time they sent us the wrong one to replace it! By the way you can't tell by looking at them that it's the wrong one. 1 injector has failed and a O2 sensor. Each call to Fitech results in a 30 minute or more wait on the phone and then another week to get the replacement part. After all of these failures they finally decided to replace it with a reconditioned unit which I am waiting on still. After talking to tech support I found out this is made and tested on a 350 Chevy so it might work for that if the parts ever quit failing. Good luck to you if you buy one as I think satan lives in this one.So this is a update on the unit. I received a reconditioned replacement unit from Fitech to replace the one I was having so many issues with. I installed it and when I started programming it I found the replacement handheld programmer they sent was defective also. I could still use it to by means of the touch screen but the selection button was faulty and wouldn't move left. So while Fitech again said they will replace it this is just another in a long list of constant failures with this company. So I am removing a star as they just can't seem to get there act together no matter how many chances you give them.
