Great Seal And Well Built
My Mac studio fits nicely on the filter stand and there is no space between the bottom of the computer and the outer edges of this stand, which creates a great air flow seal. My cat's love to spend time with me in the studio, so this is a must have to keep the inside of the Mac clean from hair. My only (small) complaint is that the plastic feet on the stand do not have any rubber mounts on them, so once mounted on it the computer slides very easily on the desk surface. This could be hazardous if your computer is close to the edge of your work space, but I plan to attach thin double stick rubber tape strips to each foot which will solve the problem.

Great way to avoid dust build-up in Mac Studio, nicely designed and built, no heat build-up
I’m very happy with this product. After some hours with it in place there’s no detectable rise in temperature from any of the Mac’s many sensors, and - most telling of all - no change in the two fans’ RPM readings (remaining between 1326 and 1335 with my machine). I do not expect the Studio to run cooler with this product but I was prepared to accept a slight rise in temperature or fan speed because of the extra dust filter. It’s a pleasant surprise that - new at any rate - there’s no detectable difference. One point I was unsure about was whether the filters are washable. There’s no information in the product description about this. However, the product box includes the information “just … rinse under water to clean the dustproof net” - that’s in addition to (eventually I guess) replacing the net (filter) with one of the two included spares. It would be worth the seller including this information for potential buyers browsing its Amazon page! The size of the filter looks pretty much to match standard 140mm fan filters. I happen to have some (“Ultrafine PVC Mesh 17 pores per inch”) on hand and it looks like they will fit with only very slight modification or none at all.I bought the clear version of this, not trusting that the aluminium finish would be a perfect match given the materials are difference. Some slight scuffing is visible on three sides but isn’t visible when in place under the Studio.Overall, I find this product is simple, no frills and effective.

Cheap and a necessity for minis and studios.
I bought this after taking my system apart for a move to a new table and noticing that my Mac Studio, much less than a year old, had the bottom grid almost fully clogged with dust. Searched for and found this item and immediately bought it, as placing a simple filter under a Mac is FAR easier than taking my Studio apart to unclog the fans.

Necessary add on.
With the high cost and fan cooling system of the Mac Studio computer, this is an almost mandatory accessory. After only 8 months of use my unit had a lot of very fine dust built up in it. I used a combination of air blower and vacuum made specifically for cleaning computers, to clean the unit prior to installing the IFCASE. I readied the IFCASE by first inspecting the thin filter pads, noting that the installed filter had 2 small but noticeable holes in it, about the size of a ballpoint pen nib. I installed a 2nd filter on top of it (included with the unit). I have noticed no appreciable increase in the operating temperature of the computer ( I use TG Pro to monitor temps and set fan speeds). I now feel a lot more comfortable knowing most of the dust and debris found in most offices/Home Offices will not find a way into the cooling system of my Mac Studio.

A good idea for the Mac Studio.
I like the placing of a filter before the fans on the Studio. It could eliminate issues down the road caused by dust going inside. I even like the idea of using it with a Mac mini , even though it has passive cooling only, even if it is to raise it up for cooling purposes under high load conditions. The stand is very reasonably priced, and I have confidence that it will be worth it over the long term. Mac Studios are expensive, so it makes sense to protect your investment .

bad airflow, heats up your mac
i'm all for a clean mac, but like the other reviewer mentioned, when this is in use, my mac got much hotter to the touch. fan speeds went up (by at least a few percentage points). not cool (literally). some may not mind that, but just be aware - i will be returning.

A bit expensive but worth it in the long run
I had no idea when I first purchased my MacStudio how quickly the bottom vents would plug with dust and debris. I only noted it when the running temp of my device would rise. I would clean the vents often but still had issues so started looking for a viable option for filtering. This stand, albeit a bit pricy, has worked great. It is catching the dust that would go into the vents and is easy to clean. As a side benefit there is a great gap underneath that I have been able to run cables through. I recently purchase another one for a Mac Mini that I run as well.Overall it has been a great purchase and recommend.

Too tall, too cheap (plastic) and too expensive
This easily could have been a half inch less tall and still accomplished a good air flow. Made of plastic, there are other stands made of aluminum available. More like a $10 - $12 item. If you run a Studio model maybe this is of benefit, I've run lower end Mini's without any issues due to dust and overheating. If it was aluminum, then this would be worth the price.
