A Handsome and Affordable Watch
For how good this watch looks, you'd think it costs twice as much as it does. I'm a big fan of the open-heart design and the clean, minimalist dial layout. The color is great too; I got the navy blue variant, which plays well with any casual outfit, making this a great everyday wear watch. The croc leather strap feels a bit plasticky and won't be to everyone's taste, but it's easy enough to swap it out for something nicer. Overall, this is a killer watch for the price.

Truly a stunning watch at a great price point
We bought this watch for our son for his 15th birthday. He’s been wanting an automatic watch and wanted his first one to be one his dad picked out for him to start off his own collection. This watch hit every single point for our son. He loves everything about it - the open heart, the domed crystal, the color, the size, the windowed back, the indices—everything is exactly what he loved in other watches he saw and they all came together in this one watch. The watch is elegant and sophisticated and with a Seiko movement you know it’s going to be reliable. We truly couldn’t be happier with this watch and our son is absolutely thrilled. He loves to wear it and just look at it!

Perfect First Watch
First off, this watch is a looker. It has a clean, professional, elegant look that you can wear on formal occasions. You can also pair this up with a more casual, everyday look too and it won't seem out of place. Absolutely love this watch. You do have to make a habit of winding this watch everyday if you don't use it often enough, otherwise the time stays pretty accurate. I adjust it once a month and its only off by a couple seconds.

Long-Term Review; Excellent Watch and Value
I have now had this watch for over a year and I have worn it extensively - nearly every hour of every day, including at night. For the first 6 months or so, the watch would gain several seconds a day; for the last 6 months or so it has lost several seconds a day. However, I have not had to wind it at all; the automatic mechanism works flawlessly simply from wearing the watch. The casing has held up well. I have had to replace the watch band, which I was able to do with an off-brand for less than $20. The open-heart face is very handsome, the build quality is excellent, and the overall value of this watch is outstanding. I highly recommend it.

Nice dress watch & Automatic under $200!!
Cool Japanese automatic for under $200! The open heart design and transparent case back is a cool way to show off Orient’s own in-house made movement. The watch will stay powered up if you wear it atleast 4 hours a day otherwise the power reserve dwindles down and you have to reset it every time you wear it. A watch winder would solve this problem but on a sub $200 watch the watch winder would probably cost more then this little guy is worth. On average im getting + 4 seconds a day, but with the hacking second hand its an easy fix just pop the adjustment out and snap it back in. I like to keep my watches synced with Time.gov when checking how much time its off. The gold tone isnt the greatest and doesnt exactly match the gold tone in my real gold jewelry. But at the price point im not really complaining. The leather strap needs to be broken in a little bit. Its very stiff the first few times you wear it. But it has since became more flexible. The lug to lug dimensions on the case leave it sitting nicely in the midle of my wrist. If the strap was of higher quality and the gold tone more accurately yellow gold colored I would of gone 5 stars. Still a great addition to any watch collection on a budget.

Great open heart watch
This was my first "fancy" watch and I'm still happy I bought it. It wears great across multiple straps (I'm using a blue sailcloth one at the moment). I love getting to see the balance wheel/spring assembly - the heart of the watch - oscillating away. It winds easily, hacks (second hand stops when crown is pulled to adjust the time), and is fairly light on the wrist. It has a display case back, too (you can see at least some of the neat guts!) It's kept ticking through the day without additional winding thanks to the self-winding rotor. The face, indices, and hands all look great, particularly when you're in bright natural light. I love the domed crystal, too - it gives that pleasant distortion at low angles and subtly adds to the overall beauty of the watch. The very reflective hands can be difficult to read sometimes depending on the light, but this is more of a dress watch than any other sort, so I think it can be forgiven for not having lume on the hands and markers. Reasonable water resistance so you don't have to worry about running through the rain with it on (but I would definitely not swim or shower with it.) No sapphire crystal but if you're looking for a dress watch made by an established company that will run great and not cost hundreds, this is a good buy.

Band width is 21mm not 20mm
The orient bambino is such a cool watch. It has a vintage watch vibe and pulls it off wonderfully. I think this watch looks absolutely amazing and I love watching the flywheel move through the open window in the dial. I was a little frustrated to find out the band width for this watch 21mm not 20mm like it says on amazons description. Now I have to return a band that I bought for this watch and get a new one. Oh well. Overall I would highly recommend getting yourself an orient bambino just beware of the mistake that Amazon made with the band width of the watch.

Defective
I was really excited to be able to get this for my husband as a wedding anniversary, the watch itself is really beautiful and worth the price tag! Unfortunately, there’s something wrong with the movement and it won’t keep the wind even after two days of continuous use. We tried everything, including manual wind with the crown, but the watch continued to stop after a few seconds. Return was really difficult since we were overseas, and they didn’t provide a replacement, only refund. I’ll have to wait to reorder since my husband really loves this one, but I’m afraid the new one will have the same issue.

Most gorgeous watch. Orient is not a brand everyone knows about but it is best value for money. Made in Japan, great automatic mechanical watch with see through exhibition case ack to see inside of the watch. Also the dial with see through open heart makes me look at it all the time. Beautiful watch. Once you start buying Orient other brands just do not stack up.

This is a beautiful piece. The sun burst blue dial and the open heart balance wheel display is simply an eye candy. What a craftmanship. I really enjoy the watch. I know its a dresswatch but i wear it all the time now so that everytime i look at the watch i can enjoy the beauty. Really happy with it

Overall, great value 9.4/10 for the price. I only take off some points because its about 8 seconds off per day vs an atomic clock, which means every week or so it'll be fast a minute and need readjustment. It's a Japanese-made dress watch that is relatively inexpensive, but does the job quote well. I bought the watch last week, and have received a couple compliments so far on it when I went out on the weekend to a bar. I like the genuine leather strap, that's a little stiff but over time conforms to your wrist. The details are pretty classic, but the open heart adds a certain level of luxury and techy fun. It's simple but really well done. I think its pretty great. It has 20 something jewels on the inside, which help reduce wear and tear for years to come, hopefully! It's an automatic watch, so it self-winds over the course of the day by walking around, but if you don't wear it for a while, it also can be manually wound. I measured my watch vs an atomic clock, is about 5-10 seconds fast each day, which isn't ideal but given its fully mechanical, without quartz.
