LIVING PROOFClarifying Detox Shampoo

I’ve been using Living Proof solely for at least the last ten years. When they came out with a clarifying shampoo I thought huh, I never ever clarify because I’ve been using just their products. Maybe this means it’s a good idea, even though their products are technically “silicone free”. I have greying hair that’s turned wavy and very frizzy over time. As good as Living Proof products are, nothing seems to help the frizz and believe me, I’ve incorporated everything you can possibly do.Anyhoo I thought maybe the frizz is buildup. I gave this shampoo a whirl and finished with the Repair mask. I added two pumps of the Bond Repair after my shower and, ten minutes later, did my usual routine of their leave in conditioner plus the Curl enhancer. I don’t use heat on my hair.This is the next day. While I have to admit my frizz is the same (no fault of the shampoo-clearly my frizz was not due to buildup) what IS very different is the texture of my hair. It’s SO SILKY!The shampoo made my hair so squeaky I was rather afraid, but the mask rinsed out so sleek and smooth, I was shocked. My grey hairs are really sparkling today.Last month my mother told me my hair was looking terribly dry. Now, some of that is my apparently inevitable frizz, but some of it was definitely buildup.I feel this is pretty strong stuff but I’ll be using it once a month now to just get the layers of whatever off my hair.

I love this shampoo! I have always struggled with dandruff and build-up on my hair and scalp and using this works wonders. I have hair that gets greasy just a few hours after showering, so I use dry shampoo quite often and this gets off all of the dry shampoo and other hair products that I use. It truly makes your scalp feel clean and free of build-up.

Definitely felt a difference in my hair after one use. My hair definitely felt clean, and my conditioner seemed to make more of a difference. My hair was shiny and extra soft after using. I wouldn't use it as a regular shampoo though. I will probably use once every 2-3 weeks.

Incredibly happy with the results I received when using this product. It cleans my hair and scalp so well. Also provides a bit of unexpected volume. Fresh scent. Definitely worth the money.

Leaves hair soft but like I dont put many chemicals on my hair it seems to be drying it out.

Saw this shampoo from my favorite influencer on tic tock. I'm glad I ordered it on Amazon. Really makes a difference in the health of my hair.

It didn’t work well for me. I have very fine hair that is healthy and usually shiny. Since I do use products on my hair I thought an occasional clarifying shampoo would be a good idea. After a single wash my hair felt very dry and looked dull and frizzy. Won’t use again.

Unfortunately this product just did not work for me - it does feel like my scalp is clean afterwards but my hair gets greasy after an hour of washing (and this is in the fall in NY). It also makes my hair extremely dry so definitely not for me.
