Great book, missing illustrations
Gould wrote a wonderful abridged version of Plutarch’s lives, that is just right for upper elementary and middle school children. This particular edition is poorly done. There are exactly two illustrations- the beautiful one on the cover and a black and white sketch of Alexander the Great. The book has lots of random blank spaces where illustrations clearly should be. There are also strange typos that could only occur from scanning a physical book. A simple spellcheck should have caught them. There are no page numbers - despite a numbered table of contents.

The text is there, but it is in...comic sans. I wish I were kidding, but I'm not. The whole thing. Title page to last page. Comic Sans.Plus, if you are going to profit from expired copyright works, at least be decent and credit the original publisher and publication year. Points off for not being courteous. I would look for a more professional edition.

poor quality- good stories
Was impressed with Roman stories of Plutarch, but the book about the Greeks is very cheaply put together- almost like it was simply photocopied at a Staples; even the grammar (or translation?) is lacking. Pictures are of very poor quality. But the stories are worthwhile. I'd really recommend the Roman version.
