Fantastic for the price.
I installed this in my 2021 Colorado crew cab W/T. Although my stock sound system was alright, the low end left a little to be desired. This sub fits perfectly under my drivers seat and is virtually unnoticeable. Build quality is much better than expected. As Youtube reviewers have tested it, such as OldSchoolStereo, the internal amp is actually rated for decent power. The 30A fuse confirms this - it will actually run between 150-250W, which is plenty of juice for such a small sub. The ennclosure is entirely metal which is great for dissipating heat. The terminal connections are good quality and the instruction manual was even clear and concise. I tapped into my FL speaker signal wires for high level input and the sub auto-powers on without issue. Tuning was easy, just set the LPF to around 160Hz and turn up the bass boost inversely to reducing bass response on factory speakers from the head unit. This prevents the speakers from having to work so hard to produce low frequencies and leaves it to the sub. I was able to achieve a much louder, crisper sound from my speakers and the sub fills the low-end gap nicely with much more efficient response than the stock speakers can achieve. The included bass knob is useful for fine-tuning the sound of different songs on the fly, as I listen to all sorts of music. That being said, frequency response does fall off after ~48Hz. You can't expect much more from a 6.5" driver (yes, the driver itself is only 6.5, the box width is 8".) IT also doesn't get exceptionally loud, but its enough to add a nice punch to the overall sound and male my rearview mirror shake a bit. I'd say it's comparable to what you'd get factory in a mid-2010s luxury sedan, such as an Audi A6 or BMW with the premium sound system. Longevity remains to be seen, but I will update if anything goes wrong with it. So far, so good! 3 Weeks in, and I'm quite satisfied.

More bass than I expected.
I was looking for a cheap upgrade for my 1990 Toyota 4x4 pickup and this under the seat amp/sub combo had a lot of good reviews and it was affordable. I didn't expect much from it, but figured it would add to the weak 4" speakers in the dash and the 4x6 speakers I added to the cubby holes in the extracab walls. This was an easy installation and added a LOT of bass! Its small size made it slide under the passenger bucket seat perfectly so it's out of the way. I tried a few different genres of music, and it works pretty well for everything. I'm not even running it full volume because it punches pretty good in a pickup truck cab. No distortion from what I've noticed. I would add one of these to another basic system in the future because it's an affordable and easy way to add some punch to your sound.

Says 10".... Definitely an 8" BUT it sounds amazing!
I'd give 5 stars except that it's definitely not a 10" sub. 8.... Maybe 8.5 but definitely not 10. That aside... It sounds amazing! It brings plenty of bottom end to my factory system. 2019 Mazda 3 without the Bose system. It gets plenty loud but there's NO Bottom end!!! So to say the least this lil sub is very impressive and definitely punchea above it's class. Seems like it's always on sale for around 80-90 bucks. And if you have a stock head unit so you have to tap into existing speaker wires... You don't even need an LOC because this has it built in! AND on top of that... It will power on when signal is sent to the speakers so you don't even need to hunt down a switched/acc wire/fuse to tap into!!! It automatically shuts off after a few minutes of no signal so it's not gonna drain your battery either. Just a damn good product... Now if only it were a true 10.....

Awesome Sound Upgrade for My 2013 Honda Civic!
As a single dad of three kids, I had an Audi A4 with a premium sound system. My kids and myself loved that car, mostly because of the killer sound system with subwoofer. Then I got married and her two kids, her Honda Civic, with my three kids, and my Audi meant we needed a van. I submitted my love away from my Audi and to my wife and our five kids, and traded the Audi for a new van. I was now the proud owner of a Honda Civic with the worst sound system on planet earth. The speakers were literally made of paper. And this was to be the vehicle I spend 1.5 hours a day in commuting to work. I was allowed to spend some money on upgrading the sound, but not a lot. My quest began in the search of the highest quality speakers and woofer my meager budget would afford. I got some Kicker speakers and tweeters and I found this under seat subwoofer for a great price. Due to budget restraints I had to keep the OEM head unit, so I purchase a LOC2SL line output converter to tie the subwoofer to the two rear speakers. The hardest part was locating a reliable power source for the LOC2SL in the web of unnamed wires within the Honda Civic. I gave up the search after failed attempts and settled on just using a fuse tap and tapping into the fuel injector pump fuse slot near the steering wheel underside for the LOC2SL power. This worked out great since this slot is only powered when the car is turned on. I just had to run a other power line from the front to the rear of the car, which was a bit of a pain. Long story short, I achieved reaching a sound quality very comparable to my Audi A4 with premium sound and subwoofer. This woofer really bumps and shakes the butt and bones. Having it under my seat took a little getting used to. I've always had a woofer in the trunk before and having it under my seat really gives a body massaging experience. This woofer does fit perfectly under my driver's side short Honda Civic seat. It won't shake the neighborhood or anything, but it doesn't lack enjoyment power. It's more than enough for enjoyment inside the car rather than making a public announcement of how annoying you can be to neighbors. Having the bass turned up full is actually too much in my little Civic. I enjoy bass heavy electronic music, and this definitely satisfies my bass heavy requirements to enjoy music on my long daily commutes. My children are bass junkies too, and they approve. I achieved Audi A4 premium sound quality by adding this subwoofer. After months of daily bass hitting usage in my car, in 110+ deg Arizona heat, I approve of this subwoofer.

Bought the 10 inch kit gor our 1989 f150 restoration. Mounted it on a thin wooden panel that sits behind the center of the bench seat resting on the floor . Power coming from battery on the passenger side through the heaterbox and running under sill plate. All wiring from deck running on drivers side under sill plate. .The instructions say use minimum 8 gauge power wire so I bought 4. Guess what. The amp won't accept thicker wire. Had to substantially trim my 4 gauge to get it to fit in . Otherwise the amp and sub are fantastic . Honestly better than I expected. Took a couple of hours to really break it in and get the flex happening for deep base. Running it on an Alpine CDE143BT deck with JL C2s up front. Killer for metal. And sounds great with all music.

So I bought this little sub for my older jeep Cherokee to fill in the sound a little. I have a nicer Kenwood deck with a couple of sets of 5.25" round speakers (stock size in the 98) but the sound was always lacking some bottom end. After installing the sub and setting the crossover to where I wanted it, I was quite happy. It's certainly not going to blow your head off but it does a nice job for my purposes. I don't listen to a lot of bass heavy music (mostly rock actually) so I don't need something that rattles windows. This sub is perfect if you're looking for an affordable option. My only issues are for one, it doesn't fit under my seats, front or back. I did measure the height but didn't account for the side of the sub enclosure and that the seat brackets slope in at the end. Something to be aware of if you're planning on having this under your seat. My other small issue was the mounting brackets are not great, I doubted they would hold the sub safely if mounted suspended like I did on the back of the rear seat. I ended up making my own brackets with some beefier metal and used those instead. Those were the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Great value for the money.
