These are easy pills to swallow, they have a nice smell to them, but I didn't not open the capsules to taste... I didn't have any issues with the pills and I'm glad the manufacturer states it's organic, lab tested, and GMP certified. I've heard wonderful things about maca root, so I'm going to continue using this product to see if there's a boost of energy. The reason for the 3 stars: so many new supplement brands don't list their address or provide a PO box or non-existent address. They also state GMP (good manufacturing practice) certification, and lab tested. Mother nature organics states the same thing on their website as well about this Maca product and their FAQ states that the have the certificate of analysis (COA), but none of this information is posted... they hide their office address and they don't post the 3rd party test results. To me this is another white label supplement company... not knowing who the company is and how long they've been in business is a concern when taking supplements for your body. I hope they read this and post the COA or some 3rd party test results to show they are honest company.
