Q: Dose this product make it hard to remove the rails from the posts once installed? I only have about 4.5" between my post and door.

These are vertical guides that attach to the outside of posts. They do not interfere with rail or equipment insertion or removal.

Yes, but I would use j channel, cable raceway or cable gutter. Grab some pan head screws and and screw right through it. Also, easy to cut to length with wood or metal saw, saw all, etc
