Awesome.
At some point I accessories with a bunch of magsafe things, and had to give up the popsockets. I'd missed them forever, got used to smacking myself in the face again when I nodded off. This dude has a great grip, fantastic for not beating myself up. Loop itself is pretty versatile, gives you some angles with which you can prop your phone up, more options than average. The ring itself is pretty comfortable, not always the most, but absolutely passable. The hinge on mine is super firm, generally I take the ring off to adjust it, then snap it back on. It is pretty heavy so if weight is a concern that's worth consideration, but for me it's kind of a "this is substantial, quality" over heft in that capacity. Overall a nice novel solution to a problem I kept fighting against.

It cracked my screen protector when I dropped it
It’s decent if you prefer the ring style but I prefer the popsocket style. Just be aware that it’s long enough to reach around to the front of your screen. It took a piece of the edge of my screen protector off when I dropped it on the carpet. Also the hinges of the ring itself can be kind of sharp on your skin if you’re not careful.

Works great with some variability
I am new to these MagSafe accessories. I have a Pixel 8 Pro phone with a couple of different cases. I prefer having a case on my phone at all times for protection from fumbling and drops. These accessories are designed to be used without a case, but with some caveats that I will provide in my own observations. The AMAZINGTHING comes with a simple adhesively attached magnetic ring. If your phone does not have any MagSafe abilities or you want to try it with a case, you can.My observations. On a Pixel 8 Pro without a case, or the use of the provided attachable ring, the magnetic attachment did not provide a lot of confidence. It was there, and enough to hold the weight of the phone up, but it was easily pulled off. If you add the magnetic ring to the back of the phone things get better and seemed acceptable, but not the best of the best. Read on. (The ring can be removed and the adhesive still works, at least for my own testing cycle). Then I aligned and attached the ring to the inner surface of a non-magnetic Crave “Dual Guard” case. The result was a weak magnetic attraction that I would not rely on for holding my phone. Same result was observed if I moved the ring to the layer closest to the outer surface. The weight of the phone pulled it apart pretty easily. Obviously too thick. The best of the best? A case with the MagSafe ring built into it. For my test, a CaseBorne (by ArmadilloTek) case (pictured) provided very secure attachment without the use of the attachable ring. The magnet was tight and hard to pull off. Using a case with the MagSafe ring built in provided the most secure results followed by a bare phone with the extra ring attached (at least my Pixel – your own phone may have different characteristics). One other thing that might be obvious. If you want to use a Qi flat charging device you may need to remove the magnetic phone grip. When I placed it on my own Qi charger, it started to charge, then stopped with flashing red lights – maybe connection issues associated with the gap between the back of the phone and the charger? For me, these tests are just indicators of the possible situations you might encounter, although I think that 4/5 stars are a fair rating with the variability. Me? I am keeping the MagSafe case and the AMAZINGTHING attached to my phone. I like the ability to take pictures with a bit more freedom and secure handle on the phone.

Durability could use some work
The product works great when it’s new. Recently it broke after a cooler of weeks of opening and closing the hinge gave way and it can no longer hold its form.

Little weighty
When I first attached this ring holder and attempted to put it on my phone holder on the car I couldn’t get it to stay on, the magnet was really weak. I was very disappointed. It kept falling off. After some consideration I decided to take the ring part off and try to attach the phone just using the magnet that is adhered to the phone. It has a strong hold! So when using it on the phone mount you have to detach the ring portion of the magnetic and use the magnet portion that is adhered to the phone for a very strong hold (I hope this makes sense). The same is true when using a wireless charger. Remove the ring magnet and charge it.This phone ring has a little weight to it. It has added to the weight of my phone considerably.I love the versatility and the ease of positioning the ring to meet my needs. I have a tendency to carry my phone by the ring, so far I have not had any issue with the magnet detaching.Overall, while it is kind of bulky and weighty, I do like it. I recommend. 👍🏾

Works Great!
The metal material is sturdy and not as heavy as similar products of this type which weigh the phone down further in your pocket (every gram matters long-term).The swivels have force to it when extended and can do vertical and horizontal as shown. There are other ring product variations, but this style is the most versatile as shown in the diagrams. You won't have problems finding your viewing angle. Just be aware the the vertical angle ring has less surface space but is FLAT to table and is stable enough. This ring magnet is strong enough for me as I have 5* rated Magsafe cases with strong magnets. If you have a Dollar Store case, your case will affect being able to connect with any Magsafe product. So be aware of what case you have. It's a winner and I'll update this review if it doesn't live up to spec.

Hinge is just too loose
I like the look and feel of this, but right out of the box, the hinge is already too loose to reliably stand up even a smaller iPhone 12 mini in the portrait/vertical position.Returned.
