Smooth, vibrant, and easy to apply
This paint went on like a dream—no streaks, great coverage, and the color was exactly as advertised. One coat did the trick. Transformed my room in a day!

I used this in Lino as I wanted to change the colour . It is really malleable and changes the texture of the Lino to the required colour.

A very bad floor paint
Very very disappointed. I bought the exact product 4 years ago, it was a completely different formula, different components (it doesn’t actually smell the same). The old formula had a slight sheen, was mark and streak resistant. You had to stir in the solid base with a milky coating to create the finished product whereas this is now nothing more than a tough white Matt emulsion. The product is obviously now made with cheaper ingredients, it is ultra Matt, making it impossible to use and walk on without making marks and streaks. Very difficult to clean because it’s almost abrasive and you have to literally scratch out any mark made by a chair, taking off some of the paint. I am very cross that I have spent so much time repainting over my floor for such a poor result. I will be contacting Resincoat to find out why on earth they’ve messed up the formula of the floor paint. I checked with my old tin from 4 years ago and it is supposedly the same product from the same range. Do not buy. I used Ronseal in my previous property and it was far better!

Very Matt shows every mark.
Very Matt finish that shows every mark, which is not great for a floor paint. After putting three coats on the wooden floor I admitted defeat and repainted it with Leyland floor paint which was a far better choice. Probably best to avoid if you ever intend to actually walk on the floor

Its not great paint tbh.
This paint took 3 coats to cover my old floorboards because covers only partially / quite transparently. Following each application, amber stains have seeping through in large swathes. I have no real idea what these stains may be but they apear to be the natual oils from the old wood. I'd sanded the boards before application and have now painted 3 coats over 3 days but the stained don't appear any less prominant. very dissapointed. I would also add that I read resin and saw the nice glossy photo and thoutgh I'd like that on my floors... I hadn't noticed how it's actually a Matt paint and so can reproduce the flooring from the picture regardless.
