Pilgrims of Another Sort: Life Lessons from the Turkey Bowl in Lawrence, Kansas Paperback – October 24, 2007

My review for this book is the same as for Rev. Dalke's books. Know that this isn't a "preachy" book, but it's engaging and thought-provoking. I was privilged to know David Dalke when he was a youth minister in my home town (Pratt, KS), and he was always availble when needed (including leaving home at night to console my grandmother who had just been windowed). I have also been in touch with him and his wife in recent years, when we're visiting family in Colorado. All of that said, his writings are fun to read and always leave the reader with much to think about. He has a way of making the reader think about Life, rather than taking each day for granted. His books are good to read and excellent to gift to others, as well.
