Excellent alternative to L-Bracket for Interior Photography
I photograph interiors for local magazines, and never really liked removing my camera from the tripod to switch the L-bracket from horizontal to vertical orientation. This looked like a good solution so I gave it a shot. It is a little tricky to install at first, but after the first installation it has been a breeze in subsequent installations. I do suggest making sure that all of the Hex head screws are tightened down complete (as I had two of them loosen when I let this rattle around in the floor of my car between shoots.)I utilized it with the Canon R6ii camera body, and have used both the Canon RF14-35/4L and Sigma 24-70/2.8L with the Canon EF-RF adapter. Both lenses fit with this rotating collar design and allow access to all functions. I will say that you have to remember that you must have the lens off the camera before trying to install the rotating collar.

SmallRig. You turned my world on its end.
This product has been the best purchase ever made. Unfortunately it is not usable with the Canon battery grip installed. Bummer. At the same time, I found it works well with the Hasselblad X2D and X1D cameras — with it loosely connected, then attach the lens, adjust the collar and tighten in place. The camera rotates smoothly. The build quality is excellent. I wish there was an option that allowed for the Canon battery grip. So for now, Hassy gets to rotate and spin. Canon gets to flop back and forth.

Works, not easy to install.
I bought this on the advice of a photography instructor and it works well. However, it’s not easy to mount and eventually I stopped using it. If I only had one lens and was going to use it all the time, then I wouldn’t have to take it off and reinstall it.

Perfect for when I do landscapes
I use this now on my Canon R6M2 for when I do landscape photography with my travel tripod. I'm always deciding on landscape or portrait, and this makes it so easy to change positions. I have no problem installing or removing my compatible lenses, nor do I have any issue at all with any of the lenses features, such as the IS switch, or the AF/MF switch.

Quick Vertical Shooting Enabled
Would HIGHLY recommend this device for anyone who shoots vertical video.I use this EVERY SINGLE SHOOT and even bought a second one just in case the first breaks. Can quickly rotate from vertical to horizontal. This even allowed me to create a vertical cinema rig.Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Versatile Tool
Much better than an L-bracket, this is a practical and highly effective investment. What a great value that didn’t break the bank. I’m an interiors photographer and this is my favorite tool in my toolkit.

Interferes with R5C grip.
They could have made ring slightly smaller. It’s very hard to get fingers between grip and ring unless you always use tripod or remove the ring. Which is not practical. There just no reason for ring too be that large. Arcs-Swiss is too tall to fit in peak design or other compatible devices.
