The look on the product is perfect in the classroom setting. The children love to look at the jelly fish and they do look real! Appealing to the students and they want to turn it on everyday. The price is right as well as the size for the desk. You need to be careful when adding water and just about 5 drops into the tube. If more soap is added, use your own judgement, you will have to try again because the jelly fish will not move right. This is better than a real tank for the classroom or small children because there is not maintenance and worry about live fish. I really love it and I bought one for my colleague. She loves hers too! Heat level is safe for kids and you can turn on when you want.

It's really neat to watch. I added jellyfish from a different jellyfish lamp and shells. Made it my way. And I love it! The colors are beautiful. Fits beautifully with the rest of my beach theme on my fireplace!!!

Don't get ALL the fish and very little bubbles and it stops working after 5 minutes!!!

*Update* I finally got the jellyfish to work. I added another drop of soap (no idea if this was the fix) and then I pushed the jellyfish down with my finger a number of times. They eventually started to float up and down like the fish. I have no idea why it didn't work before and it would be nice if they included a troubleshooting guide or, at a minimum, a web address or email contact to figure out problems. I upped my original 2 stars to 3. Ironically the only thing that doesn't work on this product is the jellyfish. The plastic fish float up and down just fine but the jellyfish just float to the top and stay there. The instructions (printed on the box) say to put them in upside down so you don't get an air bubble. Even though I did what the instructions said I tried again and even pushed them down and upside down with a pencil. They actually did float up and down twice but then just floated to the top and stayed there. The colors are nice and this would be a nice night light in a child's room although it does time out after 4 hours. The product description is not totally accurate. It says this is rechargeable but there isn't a battery. They also boast about their product support but there's no information on the packaging or their listing on how to contact them.

This is great for my classroom theme, Under the Sea. The student named them and love watching them swim. It helped me do a lesson on jellyfish
