I gifted the to my 5 year old neighbor. SHE LOVES IT!! As soon as she unwrapped it she wanted to try her 1st experiment. Her Dad helped her get everything set up. She even made her Dad put glasses on for protection.

Bought this for my granddaughter’s birthday, and she loved it! She was even able to let her sister help.

I expected a much better kit for the money and the previous reviews. I bought this based on severall "best value for the money" reviews. But we have bought several science kits for both more and less money. My daughter absolutely loves science. We try to do a few experiments every week. This felt very recycled. We had seen many of these before. In nicer kits with better supplies. My youngest was able to look at the instructions and do it on her own. So if you have a toddler probably a great buy. If you have a child truly passionate about science it is disappointing.

My 7 yr old loves it we have done most of them and it comes with enough to do them each multiple times but I say under 10 need parent’s assistance

My niece has had lots of fun doing the little experiments. She wore the lab coat the entire time she was opening the rest of her Xmas gifts.

My 7 and 9 year old grandkids and their friends had lots of fun with this kit! They even wanted to create their own experiments! The instructions were clear for the nine year old. The seven year old needed help but was no less fascinated with the outcome

When I opened the box it was full of dead maggots! I discovered that the pill bottles had actual checmicals in it and one of them had real M&M's in an unsealed container. Im. guessing the unsealed food attracted the bugs. It was pretty disgusting and I had to clean everything and replace unsafe chemicals with things that were safe for younger kids
