Great price, quality, and customer service!
TLDR: Great quality, great customer service, great price, will likely be purchasing from Lantime again for other windows! I have an old house, and like most people I can't afford an entire kitchen remodel. But I wanted to update my kitchen and not use builder grade boring honey comb blinds. More than that though, I wanted blinds WITH A CORD that I could actually reach and lift more than halfway open - truly a challenge these days, especially if you don't want to waste a ton of money on slow, loud mechanized lift features. Quality: The blinds themselves are great quality - they were the exact length/width I requested (very important for inside window case mounting!), and the build quality far exceeded my expectations for the price. The shades open smoothly, and are likely fully blackout if you don't use inside mounting (inside-mounted blinds will always have a gap of light). I live in a city and I was concerned about the shades being too transparent to outsiders at night - this is thankfully not a concern at all with the blackout option I chose. Mounting: I mounted each blind myself without help, but honestly it would have been much easier with two people. Especially if you have a long shade, you might actually need two people just to support both sides. That said, the shades are actually quite light and easy to maneuver around. The mounting holes are quite wide so it's very easy to maneuver the mounting screw & washer into the right spot - gives you some wiggle room as well in case you need to move the shade slightly left or right. I used the provided mounting hardware - two small brackets - and used my own longer woodscrews, as I was attaching these to the inside of my wooden window casings. Due to the awkward (old, slightly janky) depth of my windows, I was only able to use 2 screws on each side - the bracket allows for 4 into the upper casing, which I'd certainly recommend if you have the space. That said, these blinds are again quite light so I feel very confident that there won't be issues. Customer service: One of the three shades I ordered did have a minor part issue - I contacted the seller and they immediately sent an actual video of how to quickly pop the piece back into place, which resolved the issue instantly. Throughout the whole process they answered all of my questions (frankly too many lol), and just made the whole experience of ordering blinds sight-unseen as stress free as possible. They have samples available for purchase by the way - offered upon asking, and they send ALL of their shade options! And it's not just a few - check the size of the sample box in my pics - I even picked a color that wasn't my original preference, a brand new design they didn't even have pics for yet! Probably the best customer service I've gotten on Amazon, period (including most places outside of Amazon as well to be honest!). I shopped around for a LOT of shades and blinds options on and off Amazon. I did have specific needs - corded was a must - but I am so happy with Lantime's product, and so happy that I can now fully open my beautiful and unique shades!

Amazing shades, great service.
We bought a new house with all kinds of different sized windows. We ordered 14 bamboo shades with and without blackout materials, and they turned out phenomenal. Lantime contacted me to confirm measurements a few times. I am good with a tape measure, but they wanted to be sure. So they asked if they could send one to me to verify size and color. Since I spent quite a bit with Lantime, I was good with this. About a week after that conversation, one shade arrives from Lantime. It went up flawlessly and the finish was amazing. They cut the shades symmetrical and they fit perfect! When I say perfect, I talking about 1/4 inch reveal on both sides. We tried another company called grey wind, and they fit terribly. After we gave them the go ahead. Lantime sent the rest. All undamaged and here in about a week. We liked them so much, we took down the grey winds and ordered two more, and now we are going to order another two! I am a repeat customer. I never leave reviews but this company is legit. They block light, go up and down, and installed flawlessly. Just amazing.

Perfect in Every Way!
I ordered the blinds to fit outside of the window frame. I also ordered the blinds lined with fabric. The two windows that they are on receive strong morning sun! I followed the directions for measuring and they fit perfectly. Customer service double checked via text messaging on the dimensions. The color is beautiful! The blinds fold, as Roman shades do, perfectly and easily. There is a small, clear plastic handle on the bottom and you just lightly and gently guide the blind up or down. The privacy it outstanding, especially with the lining on them. My husband said they were so easy to install. In addition, the lining helps keep the room cool and dark during the summer mornings. I am so glad I got the lining. They are super well made and I couldn't be more happy! The value for the price is outstanding. I highly recommend the product and company.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
We had to have a large Magnolia tree taken down this summer because its roots got into the septic drain field. For the last 30 plus years it had provided shade to the west side of the house, but through the late summer we really missed that because the afternoon sun comes blazing in every afternoon right through the bamboo shades we had in place, it was blinding. Hence, we began our quest to find something to “block” the afternoon sun and these have turned out to be perfect. They make them to very exact measurements so they fit perfectly for each window. They arrived within a week (from Shanghai China) very nicely packaged and protected. All necessary hardware was included they were very easy to install. There are several types and designs to choose from that are quite beautiful and easy to maintain. We are very pleased with the quality, beauty and especially the personal attention we received from the vendor making sure we had the right measurements.

Quality shades, easy to install
Ordered these shades for the entirety of my downstairs. I did the light filtering, push pull shades. Pros: well made. Real wood and heavy. Good for the price. They did attach the bamboo to the wood with hot glue...but honestly I don't know how else they would do it. All of my pieces looked exactly the same and came in excellent shape. The measurements were all perfect. I am by no means a contractor but I got all my blinds up easily. I found that the inside mount was easier than outside mount, but that's just because I didn't have to deal with studs - not a shade issue. I also attached the shades to arched windows (which you use only halfway up the window), and while they do not provide specific instructions for this type of window, the brackets work either way as long as your window isn't super wide, requiring a center mount in addition to the side mounts. Cons: one of my blinds was quite large and had a center hole that needed to be screwed into the top window frame. Turns out, they put the motor right where the hole was! So I couldn't fit the wingnut to secure it (the motor was blocking the hole...see attached photo) I just went to the hardware store and got a non-winged nut that fit and secured it that way. I also asked them for end caps for my outside mount windows after my initial shipment and they assured me they would send some, but didn't. Finally, the screws and hardware were good quality and came with a pack of extras...but NEVER use the crappy anchors these companies provide you - that's just my rule of thumb for anything I have sent to me...you'll need to buy your own if you can't hit a stud. All in all, I would recommend them as long as you know what to be prepared for!

Great shades, the devil is in the details, hanging hardware and instructions suck
These shades are great, but first off I was surprised they were not damaged in shipping. 1.single thickness cardboard holding three shades between 59" and 71"w, and all 80" long. End of boxes taped very well..but they need a more stable box to ship.. 2.Mounting hardware, I found best to toss..and simply mount with 2.5" x 10 GRKs fasteners (with small washers)...Their mounting hardware,is flimsy and will not work on windows that do not have a horizontal wood face on the top edge of your window for an inside mount, because you can see the hardware from the front of the window..Da? One possibility is turn the mounting hardware sideways in the slot for the inside mount. But why hassle just toss them and use GRK fasteners with washers. 3.Top board of the shade that holds it all together is only 2" wide by 5/8"thick..seems to small should be at least 2.5"by 3/4" our 1"thick...my guess is by keeping it smaller they can work in many more windows. 4. The hardest mount on these shades is the "inside mount"...Make sure your windows are perfectly square, if off you cannot cut them to fit....Put your most stress into correctly measuring...and having only 1/4" space on the sides is really cutting it close, or they will bind...take your most time on the measurements for inside mount. if they do. not work then what do you do? As you. can see from my jpegs that I have soji screens behind my screens; which puts me into the next problem. You need more than 2.5 inches space from window to mount, otherwise their great black out material will ride, up and down on the glass...to avoid dirt and moisture to the material themselves you need approximately 1 inch between the material and glass...so your space on inside mount at a minimum should be 3" two 3.5 inches 5. Now we come to the biggest problem is that the lining material is connected to the top of the shades is mounted with double stick tape velcro...NOT GOOD, as heat will soften the velcro and they will de-laminate. Look at the second image...I caught this by the time I mounted my biggest shade. 71"w x 80"L...I realized that you need to tack down the velcro tape (in between the two pieces of velcro) so you do not see the tacks from the outside....Use copper tacks, or blue-sterilized upholstery tacks...DO THAT FIRST, before doing anything else.. Now I have to take the first shade and tack it, because it de-laminated within a week if the window faces the sun. Listen, I still love the shades...you get what you pay for, they are great when properly mounted, the liner provides privacy and cuts the heat from the sun in your room, and for our Japanese Tea room (Guest room)...they look great...Forgot to mention the hardware for the cords is a joke, go to a West Marine or store with sailing supplies, and buy two 3" or 4" black plastic rope cleats for sailing, and they work great along with looking great...Would love to give Lantime... a 5 for quality, but had to honestly give them a 4, for bad instructions and mounting hardware. In terms of measurement and cutting, they are great and they will not cut until you approve all their measurements so it is on you to get it right. 6. The last two shots, show the copper tacks, and nailing the velcro to the top mounting bar edge and the last shot shows the liner re-attached to the velcro strip... This should be the first thing you do before mounting...tack the velcro that holds, the black-out liner to the top mounting bar. Especially if the window is facing the sun...the heat causes the velcro to de laminate...

Superb quality bamboo Roman shades
Did not disappoint. I bought 2 for my bedroom. I’m so glad I got the black out liner which does block out the street light 200 ft from my windows. Super easy to install. Hanging faux wood blinds is a nightmare for me so I was relieved how simple these bamboo Roman shades are. I do wish I would have spent the extra money for cordless though. Cord is easy to pull shade up and down but when blinds are fully open I have 20 inches of cord hanging which isn’t kid or cat friendly.
