Wonderful product. It does it job really well. Battery lasts forever. I have been using this from 1st week of my baby and it has already been more than 4 months, haven't charged it once. Speeds up the nail trimming process! Gentle on baby’s fingertips and easy to use. I started with a manual file and switched over - never going back! Much safer than scissors! I’ve had it for a few months and the only issue I’ve had is one of the files (that I no longer use) started peeling off the plastic attachment. Baby doesn’t mind the low humming noise and is actually interested in doing it herself.

I took a star off because the first time I ordered this, the product would not turn on. Instead of returning, I just repurchased it so that I could have extra pieces in case I lost one of them. Anyways, this is a great choice for both mom and baby. When manually filing down my babies nails, he would wake up constantly and it took a bit to get him back to sleep so sometimes it would take me days at a time in increments to get his nails fully trimmed. With this, It’s easy to see because of the light. It’s both gentle and quiet enough that bay stays asleep the entire time and it’s so much less stressful. I also like that if it touches skin, it pauses so I know i’m not hurting him at all. Definitely recommend if you want a safe and easy electric filer. (my baby is 1 month old and the nail filer pieces go from 0days-toddler so it will grow with him)

As a first time mom, I was looking for a safer and more efficient alternative than using the nail clippers. I only had this product for a few days so these are what I have to say. Will probably update if anything changes. This works great if you’re looking to file down your baby’s nails at any time because it is gentle. It is pleasantly working as intended—gentle on my newborn and also keeping her nails from getting too sharp. I haven’t used any other similar products so I don’t have a baseline to compare how quiet it is but it is fairly quiet that my newborn doesn’t seem bothered by it. I like the grip and multiple pads for different age stages because it makes it feel like a good long term investment. The case is sturdy and surprisingly convenient—you can lift the panel that holds the nail buffer unit and pads to store the charging cable and probably fit the instruction manual if folded. It looks and feels nice while fitting well in my grip. The only thing I wished it had was a label stating which pad is for which age stage in case it gets mixed up during a use for a family that may have multiple children of different ages. The manual may indicate the location at the time of purchase which pad belongs to which age stage but if 2-3 are taken out and not put back, it would be difficult to tell. I was on the fence about this product but changed my mind at how often I use it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! I would highly recommend.
