OtterBox is hands-down one of the best brands of phone cases. They are more expensive than other cases out there. The defender series doesn't have the fun designs or images that other cases do have. For me the only thing that matters is my very expensive cell phone being protected. I don't know how many times my phone has slipped out of my hands and fallen to the ground but each and every time my phone has come away unscathed. I have always used the OtterBox defender case and I've never had a cracked screen.
