Exactly what I needed. My husbands kids are mixed and I wanted to learn how to do their hair. This gives me the perfect opportunity to practice! It was decently priced for the quality. The hair can be washed and curled and even dyed. The ends are pretty straggly tho... Nothing a quick trim wouldn't fix.

I purchased these mannequins to teach a braiding class at my salon. There is very minimum shedding. It didn’t have a smell per se. The length of the hair is as described. It is very easy to break and very easy to install a great purchase for the price, I ordered 10.

She wanted to learn how to braid and with her not being able to practice on me all the time, or being able to see and do her own head of hair. I decided to get her a mannequin head. She’s been practicing and using the mannequin head ever since. She’s improved her braiding by watching some YouTube videos. However, It does shed hair quite a bit. Which is annoying especially having little inside the house. It’s a great value for what you pay for. An Easy to braid and style the hair. 4 months of usage still holds up pretty well.

I love that it came w/ very thick head of hair...perhaps a lil too thick, but still nice. Mine didn't shed much, but I thought this was black people hair because her skin is black & image looks like black hair after it's blow dried; it's not caucasian & not silky like asian hair, but its not black hair either. In humidity & water, it stays straight. It looks & feels like how itd be after you had a relaxer for a month - but even black folks who have relaxers have some curl definition when hair gets wet or if it gets too humid. There is a very "slight" texture to it. I haven't dipped it deep in water or washed it, but I did spray it w/ water & soaked it & unlike w/ my hair & my other very kinky afro head mannequin, this one didn't wave up or change texture at all & I even added curl definition product & it didnt like it & became stringy (see pic). It's possible it's the Hispanic type hair that's not silky, but ashy feeling. Still think it's a good quality, I just thought it was like a black person's hair. If you braid it in two braids & unravel, it does leave some beautiful big curls. I got it for myself & so teen Foster girls can practice. Luckily I also purchased afro head mannequin too thats 3C/4A type.

You must! Must! Must get!! I sent back another wig head because it shed too much parts didn’t part right fly away were unmanageable. I am an experienced braider and I will tell you that this is what you need if you want to tighten up your hand skills!! It is easy to part make you feel like you’re parting an actual scalp! It’s a little shedding and I was nervous because the one I sent it back fast hair came out like it had an over processed perm!! Hair everywhere and it itched terribly when on you! This hair had a bad smell when first opened but went and didn’t have to was it! Look I know hair I know wig heads and this is what you need!! The price is affordable as well! I am completely satisfied and you will be too! If anyone complains they just simply can’t braid or they just are hard to please. Truth be told I am too and I am satisfied!! Great job whoever made this!!!!

The hair is matted upon arrival, but once you wash and detangle it will loosen. There was some shedding during the first wash, but no color transfer and no shedding when it was drying. This is my fifth mannequin and I would rate this top 2.
