12 year old grandson loved it. He's a Lego master, he built the starwars X-wing in 30 minutes and has also built an airplane with random Legos. My son said get him something with a challenge it was and he loves it. He did say the instructions of the two back finders were confusing so he built them without the instructions. What he loved most is the engine moves when you push the car and the steering wheel turns the tires. This did take him a day to complete, so it's not easy to assemble.

My boyfriend loves the design and it is a good quality set.

To start off, it took me nearly 14 hours to complete this build. I found the instructions somewhat helpful in identifying which piece to use, but be wary—the bags are labeled, yet the parts inside are completely mixed up. I’ve encountered this issue with this brand before, so I made sure to pre-organize everything. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a dedicated space to work on or store the pieces and plenty of patience for when you're unable to locate them. I'm currently missing quite a few number 5 pieces, along with a keg for the engine, but despite that, I really enjoyed the process! Note: Does anyone know what these red pieces are for? They were not explicitly mentioned in the manual.
