Awesome sauce, has just the right amount of ‘heat’ to it!! = 5***** +
This is addicting it’s so good! I do like spicy and hot sauces and ordered this just for the heck of it. I figured that if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t be out a lot of money. I’m using this on anything that I can - that’s how good it is. For me I like each of the ingredients and the combination of them in the right proportions makes for a fantastic sauce! I have been cooking (as a hobby) since I was 14 years old and I’m now in my 60’s and don’t cook like I used to (it’s not worth it for just myself). This makes me extremely critical of the food I eat that’s prepared by others - I am always comparing it to the way I would have made it. This sauce, however is something that I can honestly say is perfect! The balance of the ingredients is what gives it the great taste - when used it’s hard to tell which one you are tasting. The ‘heat’ level is a bit hot and for those who don’t like anything that has this type of taste might not like it as much as the other sauce they make (Be Sweet) as opposed to this (Be Hot) flavor. I have had this for less than a week and find myself looking for things to use it on - so far I’ve had it on chicken, roast beef, turkey sandwiches - I’m also going to bring it to an Indian restaurant next week (I think it would be great for chicken tiki masala). Other than tasting great, it’s also a ‘healthy’ grocery item for those who look for this when buying food. I could go on and on about how good this is but instead I will just say “try it”, you will like it! Even if you don’t care for one of the ingredients on its own this sauce has the right balance of them that it’s not easy to identify any particular one.

Lives up to it's hype, simply the best and most versatile sauce ever.
Honestly this is the best and most versatile sauce I have ever purchased. The balance of Avocado, vinegar, pepper and other flavors has a very interesting profile and while it is hot it is not at all too hot. This can be used on a wide variety of foods and even salads to add a very interesting and nuanced flavor profile. I love it and have dozens of different commercial sauces, none of which are as versatile as this one. It goes with chicken, beef, cheese, salads, vegetables and more. It isn't cheap and you probably need to use it within a month or 2 after you open it, but it is good enough that that shouldn't be a problem. I will be trying the mild and the sweet as well, but I have found that the hot is just right for me.

Listen to me... right meow
Ok... let me start by saying if I could give it 5 stars, I would. My husband disagrees. Here is his logic: “it is a little too vinegary to put on everything. It’s truely not for me. I think I would like the mango one better.” My logic: ITS 5 CALORIES!!!! ITS FIVE CALORIES!!!!!!! Oh mah gawd. It goes on everything! Ladies- I’m talking to the big girls (like me) who are desperately dieting (like me). I went from eating 5000+ calories a day to less than 1200 calories a day!! Which means veggies (bland), fruits(boring) and eggs. Boring. Boring. Boring. This sauce is the most amazing condiment that lit-erally ever existed. It makes steamed carrots a revelation❤️ Eggs? Uh-mazing! ❤️ Toast? Pass that sauce baby! It’s keto friendly (yup, tried that diet too and failed) it has just enough spice to spice up my boring calorie-conscious meal choices. Peppery, incredibly avocadoy, and yes, vinegary. This morning I made scrambled eggs, with a little bit of cheese, pickled onions on diet toast and COATED it all in the original avocado sauce!! YUM!!!!! I’m drooling. AGAIN! This sauce truely is, as the kids say, BOSS! Please do yourself a favor, girl. Buy it! Don’t listen to my husband. He doesn’t know what we are going through!

Kumana better never stop making this sauce!!!
If Kumana stops making this sauce my life will literally implode and be destroyed. It is delicious and tangy. It has a gentle building heat but is not overly intense. It is tangy and piquant and vibrant and is packed full of flavor. Drizzle it on your eggs, fresh sliced tomatoes, potatoes, or tomato soup. Dunk chicken or shrimp in a cup of this verdant sauce. Slather on your burger whether it is bean patty or beef. So many ways to enjoy this!!! Use it in a cocktail or mix in your cornbread. It is a winning sauce and belongs next to the Mayo, mustard, ketchup and hot sauce in the fridge. Standard condiment status. Obviously, you can tell, I will definitely be buying this again. So so good!!

Good, solid avocado salsa, but not the best.
The flavor is solid, but it is more like a low fat tomatillo salsa than a high fat avocado salsa. For being a "premium" avocado sauce, notice that there is more onion, green pepper and mango in this than avocado. And it is pretty mild. Jalapeno puree comes in on the list of ingredients below salt and garlic, which means you need to use a lot of it to get any heat out of it. The combination of low heat and high purchase price makes it a poor value as a hot sauce. $11.99 for 13.1 ounces is 91.5 cents per ounce. So a one ounce squirt on your burrito? There goes a dollar. My favorite avocado based sauce is Herdez guacamole salsa. The flavor is superior. It actually tastes like guacamole. It is quite a bit spicier, probably 3 times a much jalapeno as Kumana has. It is a better value at $2.38 per bottle on Amazon Fresh delivery ($0.15 / ounce). If Kumana and Herdez were priced the same, I would buy Herdez because I like the flavor better. However, because Kumana is priced 6 times more expensive than Herdez, I won't be buying Kumana ever again.

One of my cravings for Venezuela finally satisfied
Having been expatriate in Venezuela for 9 years my Venezuelan friends introduced me to many wonderful culinary items--arepas, fantastic barbeque and all things avocado, especially avocado sauce which i'd never tried or seen in the U.S.--i was hooked and ever since repatriating have been looking for that Venezuelan flavor profile. Couldn't find it until i tried this sauce. I didn't know the founder was from Venezuela until after purchasing and trying it but it immediately brought back those fond culinary memories. This stuff can literally be put on anything but it excels on lesser cuts of meat and eggs. I've purchased both the Original and the "Hot" which has a kick but isn't so spicy that it overwhelms the avocado. As many have said the flavor isn't overwhelmingly avocado--if you want that then make guacamole--but the blend with onion and cilantro is perfect. Thank you Francisco Pavan for bringing this to the U.S. !

Kumana Avocado Sauce
Found a great recipe for a Southwestern breakfast hash that called for Avocado Sauce. I couldn't find it any local grocery store so I did a Google search and liked the reviews I read about Kumana Avocado Sauce. Order was placed and they followed up with me several times. When the product arrived a few days later I sampled it and it was AMAZING! I knew it had some jalapeno in it but it was an ideal blend of flavor and mild heat. Perfect topping for my breakfast and was asked by my friends for the recipe. Of course I shared it with them and told them they need to use Kumana Avocado Sauce. Highly recommend all to consider Kumana Avocado Sauce for all recipes that need or could use avocado sauce. I'll buy again!!!

NOT A GREAT SAUCE. JUST MEDIOCRE. RIP-OFF PRICE.
Way overpriced. I'm a chef. I know my sauces... This is just another hot sauce. Avocado is not detectable due to the peppers that far overpower it. It's a hot sauce. Your lips will be burning for at least 10 minutes... Also, it's not a smooth sauce, it's chunky, due to the (unpuree'd, minced onion). Not that chunky is necessarily bad thing. Just for the record. I won't be buying this sauce ever again for $13. There are plenty of other, reasonably priced, mild- med. hot sauces out there. And some of them actually have more flavor to go with their heat. Update: One of the other reviews rings true, to me. The "Herdez guacamole salsa" is much better. Especially, if you're expecting to taste some avocado. And it's very reasonably priced... This sauce is now up to $14. That's outrageous! I've read the other reviews of this sauce, and I think something is rotten in Denmark, here...
