A must buy
It is a great little heater, keeps my hall way nice and warm, and it’s cheap to run.

It works, but has a few design issues.
Good little heater. Works good in a small space when left on for a long period. I use it in my bathroom because that radiator has packed up. My bathroom is very small. This heater will take the chill off and warm it to a reasonable level, but it takes a while (I don't have double-glazing). It's quiet and makes no gurgling noises when heating, like others I've had in the past. It's fairly long; therefore, requires two hands to pick it up. This is a problem when it's on and hot, because there's only one handle at the front. I had to use a hand towel to grab the back end so I could move it. It's not a deal-breaker, for me, but it is a bit invonvenient. The thing I do not like ( and am taking a star off for) is the big, hemispherical, red knob. I have another Belaco, with a flat, grey knob that blends into the design. This thing is obnoxious and keeps catching my eye. Red usually means something is on, and I keep glancing at it thinking it's on, then realise it's just that stupid, ugly knob. I think I'm going to paint it. Oh, and the knob doesn't haven't an indicator line to show where it's set. I always have to turn it all the way down and start over so I know where I've set it (I change the temperature levels depending on ambient temperature). Mine arrived with a back foot/stand that was a bit wonky and wouldn't screw together. I contacted Amazon to get a replacement part, and the only they could do is give me a refund. I thought that was a terrible waste of resources. All I needed was a part. Amazon advised me to contact the seller directly (off site). Belaco asked for proof of purchase and a photo of the problem, then responded promptly to send me a replacement part. So, excellent customer service.

Great size for our small room, exactly what we required.
Great size and weight, great functionality- gives out enough heat for a small room, it’s silent, looks compact and tidy great value for money. Good quality.

Safety mechanism too harsh
Only for a tiny bathroom. It heats up quickly but the over heat protection is way too strict and the surface temperature never goes over 60°C. It turn itself off before reaching the "max temperature" set by the knob. A kettle boiling water can do a better job heating the room as water goes to 100°C and no one thinks that's dangerous.

Very good. A good mid point between large 2.5kva radiators and smaller 750W ones. There's a clicking sound when it's heating up though
