Really good game to play with family and friends

The set was high quality, game not quite as fun as expected, if the criminal escapes then it is frustrating and a bit fatiguing spending multiple turns to get anywhere near them again so you're back in the fun cat-and-mouse mode

I own a much older version of this game, this one is a nice update with the character names etc. Game works the same just more modern look, good quality pieces and box too

I bought this game years ago for the kids who absolutely loved it. Have just re bought it for the grandkids. Still a great game but now more bits where players can be cool detective characters.

Quite complicated and limited for only 2 players.

One of the best game to play with friends and family.

First of all, allow some time to learn the rules of this game! It’s a little involved and different from many other games we play. That said, once you get the hang of it it’s pretty fun. My son basically only wants to be Mr. X, which is fine. I’m not so great at memory games anymore, and this has an element of memory to it. Overall, if you have a logical and patient family that likes to try new strategy games, this one can be a fun option. If you have more than one kid, prepare to negotiate who will be Mr. X!

Our eleven year old grandson loves this game. He asks to play it everytime he comes to visit, he has even taken it home to play with his parents. We bought it because we used to have the original Scotland Yard game when our son was his age and he loved it but somehow we lost it through the years. This new version is fun because you can easily play it with two players with the bobbies helping the detectives and it comes with instructions to play a shorter/easier play that our 8 year old grandson enjoys.
