I love it.
I wanted a gas cook top so bad. I was really holding my breath on this one, because you know, spending that kind of money for a heavy piece of equipment. But I love it. It is truly heavy duty, beautiful and though we had to build a place in the area where the old stove sat, it was easy peasy. Cooks like a charm. The only thing I am a little put off by is that the knobs are so close to the burners (when I use the pressure cooker) that they heat up a bit. Other wise, well spent money.

Good value with one significant problem
This is the second 'cheaper' off-brand cooktop we have owned. Although the one we replaced (different mfg) cooked well, it was fraught with problems. This one is better in many ways, and not so good in others. First, one must understand that there are NOT the $800 name brands. The stainless steel is thinner and more fragile. The build quality, albeit serviceable, is not top-notch. But it is better than I expected. The grates are very nice. They take small and large pans/pots easily with stability. The spacing of the burners is functional for a mix of 10" pans and pots. My 12" cast iron pan kinda hogs up the bigger center burner, but there's room around it to put an 8" pan, coffee pot, and two gal cook pot. BUT this is where the 'nice' ends. The BTU ratings of the burners are not accurate. That being said, I have no way of measuring BTUs. One has to go by the time it takes to heat a pan, boil water, etc. The larger burner on our last cooktop could bring a 2 gal pot of water to a boil pretty darn fast. This one takes forever. I don't think it's even in the ballpark of the BTU output they claim. All burners are low on heat output compared to other cooktops we have used. I do most of my cooking in cast iron....and the preheat time is significantly longer. The burner caps are fiddly. Takes a moment to get them sitting correctly on the burner. Design issue I think. The until comes with everything you need to use Natural Gas or propane. You will need the adapter fitting from your house's gas hose to the unit. Burners light everytime (one of the reasons we got rid of the last one). A bit of a warning here.... when cleaning the stainless, be really careful. This stainless steel is soft. It will mark or scratch easily. Don't use the scrubby side of the sponge. It easily comes apart for cleaning. The burners are NOT sealed, so mind that when cleaning or boiling over a pot. Would we buy it again? probably not. Mainly because of its low BTU output. It's like a heavy car with an underpowered engine. You'll get there, just not fast. The layout and ease of installation are big pluses. It comes well packaged with lots of extras. Even the tool to remove the jets when converting to propane. We've been cooking daily on it for 2 months. No issues with the ignitors or gas control. For the money, it's darn good. But often, a little more money gets you a better 'functional' (as in heat output) piece of equipment.

Leaking!
Be aware! This thing is leaking! I bought another same one to test, and it is no longer leaking. I got PG&E and bought a detector by myself to test. This product should be tested more in the factory!

Do not buy it!
We’ve only had it for a few months and it’s already leaking gas.
